2 bedroom ground floor apartment with mountain views. Fully equipped (includes safe), full air-con water heater and intercom security. The apartment is bright and airy with plenty of natural light.Activities in and around Calis include windsurfing, boat trips, jeep safaris, quad biking, micro lighting, horse riding, canoeing, diving, fishing, an aqua park and even shark fishing! There is a Sunday market close by where gifts, souvenirs, fake designer label goods,and much more can be haggled over. Calis beach is a 10 minute walk away, where you can sit at one of the many bars and restaurants, overlooking the bay of fethiye, to watch the magical Calis sunsets. At certain times of year the Loggerhead turtle comes to lay its eggs on the beach at Calis. There is a dolmus (local bus) stop outside.There is free Internet access at the Roka restaurant opposite. The famous blue lagoon at Olu deniz.

Balance to be paid 8 weeks before departure together with a damage deposit of £150 (returnable subject to booking conditions). The apartment is cleaned before each arrival. Towels and bedlinen are included, also beach/pool towels. Welcome pack included. Maid service can be arranged at extra cost. |
Notes on accommodation
The two pools are 1 metre deep in shallow end rising to 1.6 metres at the deep end (approx ), therefore any children should be supervised by an adult. The majority of the apartments are used as holiday homes, therefore the pool is not in use by all of the residents at any one time . Each apartment has 2 sunbeds.

Accessibility
Outside the apartment is a tarmac road, there is plenty of room for parking. Calis is a quiet but bustling resort with a seemingly endless beach. The Calis promenade is lined with bars and restaurants and is pedestrianised. Calis, although surrounded by mountains,is itself flat. Calis Beach is well known for its fabulous sunsets and the Carretta Carretta (sea turtle) which lays its eggs in the sand.
Outside
The apartment has a covered terrace with patio furniture. The gardens and grounds are walled, gated and well maintained.The apartment is not on a main road .(Turkey boasts 320+ days a year of fantastic sunshine). There is no pool Nov - April.
Coast/Beach
Calis beach and promenade is a 10 min walk away,with many bars and restaurants (also an aquapark 10 mins), local restaurants and shops are a short walk away approx 2 mins. Or take the water taxi to Fethiye where you can book day trips to mud baths at Dalyan, Saklikent gorge include watersports, paragliding, diving, fishing also many trips and tours (incl 12 island, sunset tours). Information on activities, car hire etc can be found in the apartment.
Travel
Nearest airport is Dalaman approx 45 mins by car/taxi. Transfers can be arranged (please notify when booking if this is required).
although a car can be hired, it is not neccessary, as there is a dolmus stop (local bus) outside the apartment.
Distances
The town of Calis is 10 mins walk away and has shops , bars and restaurants , also its own aqua park. There is a weekly Sunday market in Calis , close to the apartment. The Calis water taxi can take you to Fethiye for boat trips (takes about 25 mins), island tours there is a market in Fethiye on Tuesdays.
Further details
Further places of interest within striking distance, include saklikent gorge, tlos ruins, yakapark, kayakoy ghost village, gocek harbour, dalyan mud baths and various boat trips which can all be done within a day. Further away is pomukkale, ephesus and the greek island of rhodes (about 90 mins). There are various information leaflets at the apartment.
we advise to arrange your own insurance to cover yourselves and your personal belongings whilst staying at the apartment. This is your responsibility.
Booking notes
Smoking is not permitted in the apartment, but is allowed outside on the terrace. A £150 damage deposit is required together with the balance 8 weeks before arrival (which is refundable within 10 days of the end of rental period subject to booking conditions). If booking less than 8wks in advance, deposit and balance is due immediately. Open all year. Long lets available, over 1 month 25% discount, over 2 months please ask. 50 units of electricity are given , anything over the limit must be paid
