We have hosted 244 people in 81 groups from all around the world from May 2009. The flat renovated and redecorated in November 2010. We are located in a lively area known as French Street, officially Cezayir Street, our flat awaits you to offer comfort, history, and entertainment. The tram line is 6 minutes walk away to take you Eminonu, Topkapi Palace, Sultanahmet and Grand Bazaar. We recommend you to walk this route also. Nature accompanying to the history of Byzantium and Ottomans. And the Istiklal Street, the most famous entertainment area of Istanbul is 5 minutes away. The street is full of famous drink houses, bookstores, movie theatres, pubs, cafes, shops, as well as consulate palaces. Cukurcuma, the famous street of antique shops is very near. One of this shops is ours. Our street is a lively one which is surrounded by cafes and restaurants. If you are looking for a spot in a very central location with full of entertainment, this is the right place like our other flats.

Kitchen: You can find everything to cook and dine in the kitchen. It's full of equipment, though not a microwave.

Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
The cleaning is the guest's responsibility. There are everything to clean up, including vacuum cleaner. If you need laundry we can offer it for 15 euros for each 6 kilos washing including ironing. After a week we change the sheets on beds and towels.

Coast/Beach
If you like to walk at the edge of the Bosphorus, it's 10 minutes away. If you would like to go to the beach for swimming and sunbathing, there are 2 options. 1. Prince's Islands. From tram stop, you go to Kabatas in 3 minutes by tram, then take the ferry to islands. 2. You can go to Kilyos, on the north, on the coast of Black Sea, near 30km from the apartment. Buses to Sariyer from Kabatas, then you can take a taxi to Kilyos. From Sariyer to Kilyos, it is 5km.

We can pick you up from airport. Sabiha Gokcen: 40 euros Ataturk: 20 euros.

About the owner
Zeki Pasha, a top ranked general in the Ottoman Army, who died before World War I, who was my grand grand father, had left the building to his children. The building was home for our family for a long time. Now, the building is a great opportunity to meet people around the world. We have 5 flats in the building to host you. Me and my wife were admen, in 2007 decided to change our life, and quited our jobs. She had a course for baking and baked brownies, muffins and I delivered them. But then we decided that we should focus on accommodation. Actually there is no time for doing something else. We are helping each other for everything to build our new life. Me and my cousin still renovating the building and around. Thanks God and thanks to near 700 people who has chosen us, we can.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
I was born into this neighborhood. It was not an investment, it's our family heritage. In 2004, an investor has come to our street, bought, hired some buildings, made people come together, and they all together transformed the street into an entertainment area. Now we have cafes and restaurants around the street. It's colorful and lively now. On weekends hundreds of people visit our street, to have coffee, wine, to make some conversation and to be entertained. There are singers sing romantic songs in the street. Some other programs offers more cheerful songs especially on weekends. From our side, this street gives an exceptional Istanbul experience with us. Now we have TK821, TK1487, TK1488 and TK 1946 in Zeki Pasa Building.

Everything is in walking distance. Istiklal Street, the most famous street in Istanbul with it's cafes, restaurants, drink houses, movie theaters, shops, bookstores, old style architecture and people around the world, is in 5 minutes walking distance and near 24 hours alive. Besiktas, Dolmabahce, Eminonu, Sultanahmet, Hagia Sofia, Grand Bazaar. All destinations a tourist should visit, all in walking distance too. If any property is not in our district, it cannot offer comfort about transportation and an atmosphere surrounds you with a great smell of history and heritages of empires.
