The villa has landscaped gardens, terrace areas, sun loungers, deck chairs and umbrellas, where you can sunbathe, relax and entertain. The property is set out on 3 floors plus roof terrace with seating area under a pergola, ideal for sun downers, plus an Ottoman room in the turret room which is great for relaxing, playing games or for the occasional shisha. The Lower Garden Floor Annexe Apartment with its additional kitchen, lounge and terrace garden area makes the villa ideal for 2/3 families or large groups with plenty of areas to escape for a bit of 'time out' from the group. The interior is a fusion of Mediterranean and modern comfort, spacious, cool and a home away from home.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. Check in is after 3pm and check out by 10am, although we can be flexible depending on arrival/departure times of other guests.

Notes on accommodation
The roof terrace has recently been updated to have a pergola with comfortable seating. In addition the turret area has been converted to an Ottoman room, with seating ideal for smoking shisha, playing games, chatting or just simply relaxing. All rooms are fitted with air-conditioning, which can also be used for winter heating together with an open fire place. There is also a stand up fan, as well as a ceiling fan on the main terrace. A meet and greet service is also provided with a welcome pack and information booklet with emergency numbers and contact details of our managing agent in Kalkan. Transfers and car hire can be organised if required. Please note that for the comfort of all our guests smoking is not permitted in the villa, but is permitted on the balconies and terrace areas.
A laptop & printer are available with free WiFi internet access.
Also a table football on the middle terrace is available.
Additional apartments & villas available, very close by for larger groups.
Accessibility
There are a few steps leading to the villa entrance and also to the lower ground floor annexe apartment. The place is not suitable for those with limited mobility. Please be aware that the roads to and from the villa, as well as the terrain in Kalkan/Kalamar may make walking difficult for the elderly and infirm.
Outside
The villa has large gardens and terrace areas on the ground floor and gardens and terrace area on the lower ground floor where there is an annexe apartment. The garden is made up local trees including olive, lemon, fig, mandarin, peach, vine and an assortment of local flora and herbs. There is also a large roof terrace area with panoramic views. There are shaded areas for alfresco dining which includes a large marble dinig table for 12, rattan sofas and chairs for relaxation, along with sun loungers, deck chairs and umbrellas around the infinity pool. The roof terrace also has a pergola with comfortable seating ideal for relaxing and drinking your cocktails.
The villa has its own private, infinity pool with tiled steps leading into the water. Ideal for sitting on and sipping a cocktail.
There is also an external shower for use before and after swimming.
We also provide a BBQ and separate Paella kit.
A table football with great views while you play is available on the middle terrace
Coast/Beach
The villa is only 180m from two beach clubs with bars and restaurants. The Kalamar Beach Club also offers water sports, diving and free courtesy transport if required. Kalamar Bay is by far the best location if you want easy access to the sea and beach clubs while you are only within 25 minutes walk from Kalkan town centre.
Travel
Kalkan is only 1hr 45 minutes from Dalaman International Airport. We can arrange for your airport pickup and and drop-off. Car hire is not essential (although this may be required if elderly or with limited mobility) but if you would like to explore the area one can always hire a car for the occasional day or use taxis, which can offer a tour service if required.
Distances
A 5 minute walk will take you to the best beach clubs in Kalkan and a 25-30 minute walk will take you into Kalkan. The town has a wide choice of restaurants, bars and shops. A 15 minute drive will take you to Patara beach, Xantos, Islamlar (a traditional mountain village with its trout farm restaurants and vineyards), Kas (a traditional Turkish harbour town with a small marina) and Sakli Kent gorge, which has fresh running water from the Troodos mountains.
Further details
This part of the Lycian Peninsula is a living museum. You can visit Patara, Latoon and Xantos from Kalkan by car. The harbour at Yesilkoy opposite Kalkan and Kalamar Bay provide a natural harbour for all year round anchorage. The nightlife offers stylish ambiance among the many roof-top restaurants and bars in Kalkan and further afield in Islamlar and Kas. The food is fusion of regional Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine at its best. One can find live music to suit any taste including jazz, blues and traditional Turkish. A wide range of tours can be arranged in Kalkan including boat tours to local sites and islands, horse riding, diving, sailing, kayaking, historical sites and archeology tours. The 'Lycian Walk', which runs through Kalamar Bay offers spectacular walking and hiking opportunities.
Booking notes
25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking, with the full balance due 10 weeks prior to departure. A refundable breakages deposit of £350, to be paid with your final payment, is required prior to your arrival. This will be refunded within two weeks of your departure from Kalkan subject to a satisfactory property inspection.
