The apartment is ideal for those wishing to explore the Bodrum peninsula and have easy access to Bodrum but who prefer to holiday in more tranquil surroundings. With the Milas-Bodrum airport only 15 minutes away you can be enjoying your holiday without delay.

Changeover day
The preference is for the changeover to be either a Tuesday or Thursday, with the premises vacated on the day of departure usually by 11am. Other changeover days are negotiable so please contact by email or phone to discuss.

Notes on accommodation
The resort has professional onsite 24 hour security ensuring an undisturbed and secure environment to relax in. A local bus offers guests transport to and from Bodrum (paid locally). Flamingo Country Club is suitable for couples and families who wish to have many amenities on their doorstep, yet only a short drive to the historic town of Bodrum and all it has to offer. Car parking and car hire are available on-site. Free Wi-Fi internet access is available in the clubhouse area. Cots and highchairs can be arranged locally from the on site management office. Small additional cost paid locally.

Accessibility
The resort is a newly constructed country club built to high standards. The site has breathtaking views of both the Aegean Sea and inland over Lake Tuzla, but is not ideal for those with mobility challenges.
Outside
The apartment offers two tiled terraces, the front terrace overlooks the garden and has beautiful inland views across to Lake Tuzla. The rear terrace is smaller but offers tranquillity and shade from the sun. Garden furniture is provided. The complex offers 18 shared pools all with integral children’s pool, sun loungers and umbrellas for shade. The club house area includes a heated indoor pool suitable for the low season and those wishing to escape the sun. Other outdoor facilities include ground chess, volleyball, childrens play area, tennis court and basketball. Within the complex there is also a gym, sauna and Turkish bath.
Coast/Beach
The private beach club is accessed via monorail which is approx 10 minutes walk from the apartment. The Beach Club is the decked jetty style sun terrace popular in Turkey populated with sun loungers, bean bags and parasols. The beach club also offers a bar and snack facilities. For those who wish to venture out, the Bodrum Peninsula's coastline has many secluded village beaches. Boat trips sail regularly from Bodrum Marina, the ideal way to see the stunning coastline.
Golf
The resort has its own 6 hole practice par 3 course, ideal for sharpening your short game. Just 10 minutes from the resort is the Vita Park Golf resort, Bodrum's only PGA standard golf course. The course has 2 par 71 courses. The 'Milas' is designed in the style of a Scottish Links and the 'Halikarnas' more Arizona style. Vita park has it's own clubhouse, Pro shop, driving range and restaurant.
Travel
The resort nestles just off the main coast road between Bodrum and the Milas-Bodrum International airport, Bodrum around 30 minutes by car.
Flamingo Country Club is self contained. There is a regular local bus to and from Bodrum centre (timetable available locally) which runs well into the evening/early hours. Car hire can be arranged onsite (paid locally) and there is parking available for clients on-site. Dalaman is the nearest alternative airport but is approx 2 hours drive away.
Further details
Bodrum is the nearest place of main interest - with many historical features dotted around, the centrepiece being the magnificent Castle. For shopping and supplies you have supermarkets and a regular vegetable market, even a small Marks and Spencers for the homesick! The Marina at night has a large choice of restaurants and places to enjoy a relaxing evening drink. For those wishing to dance into the small hours neighbouring Gumbet offers a livelier night out. The beauty is that the two parts remain very distinct from each other.

Bookings and enquiries can be made by either email or telephone. £100 deposit (non-refundable) will secure client dates with the balance payable in full 8 weeks prior to arrival. Rental costs include all utilities, clean linen and towels (not beach) and a cleaned apartment on arrival. Additional cleaning and laundry can be arranged locally at additional costs. All clients are advised to take out suitable holiday insurance as the owner cannot accept liability for loss of valuables or injury.
