Overlooking Kalamar Bay, the views from Villa Manzara are spectacular. It is a home of exceptional quality with travertine marble terraces, private pool, contemporary furnishings and high quality appliances. The views are stunning from every floor, window and balcony of the villa and with less than a 5 min walk from the front door to the sea, you will struggle to decide whether to dive in, or hop on a jetski. If you are keen on nature and fancy rambling, the villa is literally on the Lycian Way, which provides miles of picturesque walking trails, where you can take in the ancient sites and flora and fauna of the region. Our villa is looked after by an English/Turkish company, who not only keep our home in tip top condition, but are on hand to help you with anything you need for your holiday i.e. car hire, advice and booking of trips, restaurant reservations, medical contacts etc.

Changeover day
Friday and Monday are the usual days for flights into this area although we may be flexible, dependant on bookings.

| Other: | Every room in the villa opens onto either a balcony or terrace, with stunning views from all floors. All the bedrooms have air-conditioning. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen are included (not beach towels). The property will be cleaned with fresh laundry once a week. If you require cleaning more often it can be provided at a small cost. A welcome pack awaits you on your arrival, with our compliments. |

The villa is fully air-conditioned, which can be used as central heating during the winter months.
Wireless internet access is available within a 5 minute walk at Club Xanthos hotel.

Outside
The terraced garden areas are filled with fruit trees, beautiful mediterranean plants and bouganvillia.
The spacious private pool terrace has sun-loungers, parasols, large outdoor bean bags and side tables for your G&T. It also has a turkish seating area in the shade.
The two dining terraces are complete with tables and chairs.
The BBQ terrace, with local stone built BBQ has a low Turkish style seating area.
The roof terrace also has low turkish style seating across two of the corners, making for a great after dinner social area while watching the sunset.
Coast/Beach
The sea is less than 5 mins walk from the villa, where you can also find both the Kalamar Beach Club and the adult only Kulube Hotel Beach Club. Kalkan Town is 5 mins by car. As well as the more local beaches, the 18km Patara Beach (voted best beach in the world by The Sunday Times) is a 15 mins drive away, Kaputas Beach is a 10 mins drive. Both beaches plus the local town of Kas can also be reached by local bus.
Special interest holidays
Kalkan and the surrounding areas have an abundance of ancient historical sites. Xanthos and Patara being just two, which make it an ideal place to come to for walking/hiking holidays(all walks are clearly marked). The gorge at Saklikent provides another area for walking, but also river tubing or rafting.
The villages surrounding Kalkan are well worth seeing on a bike ride - although the hills are not for the faint hearted.
Scuba diving, water skiing/banana boat are available at the Kalamar Beach Club (5 min walk).
All other excursions can easily be booked through our agent, or many others locally in Kalkan.
Travel
Dalaman airport is approx. 1hr 30 mins.
Antalya airport is approx. 2hr 15 mins.
Transfers to and from the airport can be arranged in luxury air-conditioned cars/mini-buses.
Car hire can easily be arranged - although taxi's are incredibly reasonable.
Distances
Saklikent Gorge is approx. 30 mins by car.
The beautiful Patara Beach which its ancient ruins is approx. 15 mins away - Xanthos is not much further, so with a relatively early start you could see both in one day. The local diving centre is located in Kalamar Bay. They also have speed boats, banana rides, pedaloes etc., this is a 5 mins walk from the villa.
Further details
Kalkan is a beautiful old town which has, and will maintain its charm due to the determination of the local people. It has over 100 restaurants, either by the harbour or in the pretty side streets, many with roof terraces. There are plenty of shops selling handbags, jewellery, clothes, ceramics and of course turkish rugs.
Kalkan has its own fully stocked supermarket, bank, pharmacy, and the market comes to town on Thursdays.

A 25% deposit is required when booking with final payment to be made 8 weeks before departure. A £150 deposit for breakages will be required with the final payment.
