Uzumlu, named after the grape vines, is a typical Turkish village and has wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. The area is picturesque, quiet and very traditional with plenty of historical sites to visit. The villa stands at 500 metres above sea level and in summertime when the weather is hot, benefits from a gentle breeze. The village is small and the locals are extremely friendly. You can find a few small shops, a post office, a wine bar and a few restaurants. The local bus links the village to nearby Fethiye with its marina. Here the local restaurants are able to cook fish caught locally as well as providing a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy the fantastic food. Hisaronu and Ovacik are within reach by bus or car and provide more lively nightlife. Olu Deniz with its famous beach is within easy reach and a boat ride to Butterfly Valley gives the opportunity to explore the Turquoise Coast. Kidrak, also known as Paradise Beach is only 2km away from Olu Deniz.

Notes on accommodation
Holiday 24 hour telephone support is available and welcome packs can be ordered on request. The villa provides and ideal base for a super family holiday.
The bedrooms are double sized, spacious and include comfortable seating. All have their own private balcony. All bedrooms are air-conditioned. Two largest bedrooms have en-suite facilities bedrooms have linen suitable for hot and cold weather. A marble spiral stair case leads to the second floor where all three bedrooms have their own balconies with seating. The second floors largest bedroom has en suite facilities. The main bathroom has a jacuzzi and shower.
The second marble stairway leads to the third floor en-suite bedroom, which leads to two terraces, one on each corner of the room, suitable for private sun bathing with breath taking views. A sunny aspect is available throughout the year from this elevated position.
Coast/Beach
Kidrak, also known as Paradise Beach is only 2km away from Olu Deniz.
Travel
Airport transfers can be arranged if required. Regular, cheap bus service links the village to Olu Deniz, Hisaronu, Kya, and Fethiye with supermarkets, shopping area, harbour and large selection of restaurants.
Distances
The villa is near to the village centre, and the market is held close by. All essentials for the holiday can be purchased in the village. Telephone kiosk, post office and Internet cafe are within close walking distance.
