Villa Bellapais is a 4 bedroom luxury villa with breathtaking views overlooking Kalkan Bay and the picturesque harbour. All bedrooms have air conditioning and balconies which look out over the private infinity pool and garden. It is just a short 20 minute walk down to the centre of town where there are numerous shops, bars and restaurants where you can watch the sun go down from the many roof top terraces which help to make Kalkan so special.

Notes on accommodation
All rooms have air conditioning which doubles as heating in the cooler months. While the villa is suitable for children, care should be taken on marble floors and around the pool area.
Accessibility
Whilst it is possible to walk into Town, the Villa is on a steep hill which is not suitable for those who have difficulty walking and can be hard going for buggy's. Although the villa is on 3 floors, there is a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor for those who prefer to be on one level.
Outside
Villa Bellapais has a large patio area with 8 sunbeds and its own private infinity pool of 8x4metres. It has an outside shower, barbeque and table and chairs seating 8, looking out over Kalkan and the islands beyond. There are also 2 large sunshades and a small garden at the side with its own olive tree. There is also a small garage suitable for one car.
Coast/Beach
Kalkan has its own lovely pebble beach which is about 20 minutes walking distance and there is also a fantastic, long, sandy beach at Patara, about 20 minutes away which can be reached by bus. The beach is in a conservation area so there is a minimal fee charged to use it.
Travel
The nearest airports are Dalaman which is about an hour and a half away, and Antalya which is about 2 and a half hours drive. Car hire is available from the airport and in Kalkan but is not essential as airport transfers can be arranged and the bus and taxi services are generally reliable and cheap. The cost of transfers to Dalaman Airport are currently about £60 each way for a standard car for 1-3 people, payable locally.
Distances
There are many places of interest nearby with a bus or tour guide ready to take you there most days. Kas is about 25 minutes away by bus and is a small harbour town with pretty old cobbled streets. Fetiye is 45 minutes away and has a great market on Tuesdays. Saklikent Gorge is well worth a trip and is 25 minutes away. Patara, with its white sandy beach is 20 minutes away.
Further details
There are numerous supermarkets in Kalkan, most of which will deliver direct to the villa. There are also quite a few banks and ATM's in the town which are all open most days. There are activities to suit everyone, from paragliding and scuba diving to relaxing boat trips, mud baths and shopping opportunities. All tours are bookable locally in Kalkan. The restaurants in Kalkan are amazing with most having roof terraces with wonderful views overlooking the harbour. The quality of food is excellent with small local tavernas to modern 5 star restaurants. I can honestly say that in 3 years we have not had a bad meal in Kalkan!
Booking notes
Dates will be held upon payment of booking deposit of 25% within 5-7 days. The balance to be paid, including a refundable £250 damage and breakages, 8 weeks prior to the date of arrival. Airport transfers are not included but can be arranged with payment locally. Guest are advised to organise their own insurance for personal injury, loss of possessions, damage to property and cancellation.
