Uzumlu, named after the grape vine, is a typical Turkish village with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. The area is picturesque, quiet and very traditional with plenty of historical sites to visit. The villa is secluded but not isolated and stands 500m above sea level. In summertime when the weather is hot it benefits from a gentle breeze. The village is small and the locals are extremely friendly. You can find a few small shops, a post office, a wine bar and a few restaurants. The local bus links the village to nearby Fethiye with its marina. Here the local restaurants cook fish caught locally as well as providing a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy the fantastic food. Hisoronu and Ovicik are within reach by bus or car and provide more lively nightlife. Olu Deniz with it's famous beach is within easy reach and a boat ride to Butterfly Valley gives the opportunity to explore the Turquoise Coast. The nearby historic amphitheatre of Cadianda is at the rear of the villa.

| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 has double bed and en-suite. Bedroom 2 has two single beds. Bedroom 3 has a double sofa bed. All bedrooms have linen for summer and winter stays, with baconies, outdoor rating and air-conditioning. The views from all are extremely good. |
| Bathrooms: | En-suite to bedroom 1 with wc and shower. Main bathroom with bath / shower over, wc. Separate wc at ground level. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen has hob, microwave and oven, washing machine, fridge and freezer. |

Airport transfer and car hire can be arranged. Holiday 24 hour telephone support is provided and welcome packs can be ordered on request. The villa provides an ideal base for a super family holiday. Cot and for hire £15 per week. Highchair for hire £15 per week.

Jeep safari and paragliding are available. Trips can be booked to nearby Saklikent Gorge, Butterfly Valley, Paradise beach, mud maths, Turtle beach, trout farms, gullet cruises and historical sights. There are many places of interest to be seen. Guidebook and details can be found in the villa.

The villa is near to the village centre. The Friday market is held close by. All essentials for the holiday can be purchased in the village. Telephone kiosk, post office and Internet cafe are within close walking distance. Regular, cheap bus service links the village to Olu Deniz, Hisoronu Kya and Fethyie with supermarkets, shopping area, harbour and large selection of restaurants. Internet facilities available 100m from villa in village internet café.

What can you say! A wonderful villa (with everything you will need), stunning scenery, and a superb and very friendly village with all amenities (wine bar... ask for Eddie, restaurants, local shops, great supermarket, barber and cafe-with wireless internet so take your lap top!). The village of Uzumlu is a short drive to all the beaches, shops and hustle and bustle of the town of Fethiye and the famous Blue lagoon. If you don’t want to drive, take the local Dolmus that leaves regularly from the village to all destinations, great fun! A wonderful holiday. Excellent communication and information packs from the owners, Anne and Richard here in the UK.
