The Atlantis Wellness Centre includes a heated indoor swimming pool, fitness centre, sauna, Turkish bath (Hamam), massage and beauty centre. Tours and car hire can be arranged onsite and all manner of water sports are available on your doorstep from the water sports centre where you can learn to scuba dive, parasail, and water ski or windsurf. A complete stress free holiday and a perfect place to relax – or not – your choice! Calis is known for its amazing sunsets which you can enjoy from the Club’s restaurant or pool bar or from one of the many bars and restaurants in Calis which line the shore just a few minutes walk away. The bustling market town of Fethiye with its traditional bazaar, marina, charming restaurants and famous Tuesday market can be easily reached by water taxi or local minibus (Dolmus).

Outside
Well maintained gardens with private pool and BBQ. Sun beds and patio seating to catch those rays and soak away the stress. Access onsite to the private beach, 5 large swimming pools and 3 kiddies pools, heated indoor pool, gym, children's play area or, for the more active, the Surf Café on the beach offers a wide range of water sports. There is even a children's Water Park in the centre of Calis for the really energetic.
Whilst there are a wide range of things to keep children happy, the Atlantis Wellness Centre with its full range of SPA treatments is a real indulgence and a must do for the grown ups. Try the Turkish bath (Hamam) early on in your stay and your sun tan will last longer. Or you might just want to relax by the pool with a long cold beer and watch one of the magical sunsets Calis is noted for.
Coast/Beach
Oyster Villa 8 is right by the beach and just a short walk from the many bars, shops and restaurants in Calis. The Dolmus station is next to the complex so there is easy access to all local towns and villages. The charming market town of Fethiye with its bustling harbour and excellent restaurants is 10 minutes drive or 15 minutes by water taxi. While Olu Deniz, with its world famous Blue Lagoon, is just 30 minutes away. Both offer a range of boat trips - the 12 Islands is very picturesque.
Travel
Dalaman airport is approximately 45 mins. Transfers can be arranged prior to arrival. Car hire is not essential unless you're one of those adventurous people that wish to explore some of the many extraordinary sites Turkey has to offer. Car hire plus a full trips itinerary is available at the complex.
Distances
Sunset Beach Club is situated in Calis Beach and everything is within a short walking distance. Fethiye, 15 minutes by Dolmus or Water Taxi, is set in a beautiful bay surrounded by the pine clad Taurus Montain range. This breathtaking scenery is now protected by the government and continues down the coast to the famous Olu Deniz Blue Lagoon, where daredevil paragliders happily jump off the mountain and glide down to the warm sands. For the more sedate among us the craft market there is a must.

The combination of stunning scenery, numerous ancient sites and miles of beautiful beaches makes the south coast of Turkey one of the most popular destinations for discerning travellers. With its wonderful weather with average temperatures in summer of 30+C, in spring and autumn a balmy 24C, and even in winter the temperature rarely falls below 10C and often reaches 15C making this an all year round destination.
There are many things to do: For the cultural amongst us - the ancient sites of Ephesus, Patara, Xanthos or the Lycian tombs of Dalyan with its ‘therapeutic’ mud baths offer hours of fascination. For shear staggering natural scenery – the Saklikent Gorge or Blue Lagoon at Olu Deniz are well worth a visit. Even a visit to the extraordinary Pamukkale ‘Cotton Castle’ waterfall cascade a little further away is awe inspiring.
For the adventurous there’s paragliding from Olu Deniz’s fantastic Babadag Mountain or scuba diving off the coast virtually anywhere. For pure fun why not try your hand at wind surfing, waterskiing or parasailing.
Or for the more relaxed amongst us why not try one of the many boat trips from Fethiye harbour, the 12 Islands cruise is one of my favourites, but you can also visit Rhodes on a day trip. One must-do trip is a visit to Fethiye’s Tuesday market – if you’re prepared to haggle you should come away with a bargain or two. Its great fun and the Turkish people will enjoy it too and if you don’t find what you need there, Fethiye’s bazaar – open everyday – has a huge range of eclectic Turkish and tourist artefacts.
Fethiye’s night life is always an attraction of the younger generation and the landmark laser beam of the bazaar disco can be seen for miles against the evening sky. If, like most of us, you simply want to sip your beer or wine in the warmth of the sun and watch the world go by then Turkey is for you.
Booking notes
20% non-refundable deposit payable within 7 days of booking secures the property. Balance to be paid no later than 8 weeks prior to rental period. A breakage deposit of £200 will be payable on arrival and will be returned on departure subject to a final villa check. Smoking is not permitted in the property. Full meet and greet service on arrival.

I live in the UK with my husband and 3 children (11 year-old triplets) and our Bichon Frise – a little white bouncing bundle of a dog. We used to live for many years just North of London but have recently moved to South Wales – beautiful countryside. We have spent many happy summers in Turkey and love the country and the people. They’re so friendly and family oriented.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
The countryside around Fethiye is stunning. The Taurus Mountains give a brilliant backdrop to the unspoilt coastline. The Turkish Government has designated the area a national park and building can now no longer take place on the actual coast. This makes this property an invaluable location being right on the beach. The complex is within easy reach of Calis's many restaurants and shops. The market town of Fethiye, with its bustling market and indoor bazaar, and local beauty spots such as Olu Deniz (the Blue Lagoon in all the tourist brochures) are just a short minibus (dolmus) ride away. You can visit ancient tombs, stunning gorges, eclectic bazaars or great beaches.

Its great location right on the beach ensures that you can sit watching the sea, with its wonderful sunsets, while sipping a cool beer in your own villa and watching the kids in the pool. So everyone can relax… And if the sun gets too much you can 'veg' in front of the plasma.
