Notes on accommodation
The property is primarily a second home for a young family, extensivley refurbished and developed for their enjoyment, full of finishing touches uncommon in rental properties.
Outside
The front garden incorporates a large sea facing terraced area to sit and enjoy the breezes and the local turkish community.
The rear garden consists of landscaped terraces cut into the rock of the mountain with sunny and shaded areas.
The lowest terrace includes the pool (6m X 5m overall, 1m - 1.5m deep) shaped around a mature tree partially shading the pool (ideal for children).
The middle terraces are mainly made over to exotic plants and fruit trees, including a stone barbeque terraced area.
The top terrace includes a large wood decked pergola with seating below the below a bougainvillia, (a lovely place to look over the rooftops at the sea and enjoy the sunsets).
Coast/Beach
Situated approx 250 metres from the picturesque harbour.
Prime beaches such as the famous Olu Deniz or more local Calis can be reached by good public transport, taxis or water taxis.
Travel
Dalaman is the nearest airport approx 50 minutes away, Private transfers can be arranged for £40.00 each way.
Distances
Situated in Karagozler II, the cosmopolitan town of 'Old Fethiye' with its abundance of restaurants, shops, bazzars and bars is only 1km away along the coast road.
Olu Deniz is approx 15km away, the area is well served with taxis, durmus (small buses) a car is not essential.
Further details
Karagozler is served by a small local shop with daily door deliveries of fresh bread and vegtables, Fethiye has almost every conceivable shop,(and many you would never have thought of !!) and banks with cash machines.
Scuba diving, Paragliding,horseriding and an extensive selection of boat trips are all available locally.
