Villa 'Artemis B' is a newly built twin-colour villa which sits at the front of a plot with 2 other villas. It has a pretty front garden with palm tree and opens onto a quiet street 3 minutes walk from a supermarket and 5 from the town centre. Behind the villa are two other villas with a large round shared swimming pool and sunbathing areas. Local restaurants, shops and riverboats for excursions are minutes away. Storks nest each spring on a telegraph pole at the corner of the road, and can be observed from the garden or main bedroom window.

Outside
Comfortable shaded wooden veranda with sofas for relaxing in the cool afternoon breeze looking over towards the mountains - in the spring you will have a glorious view of the hatched baby storks stretching their wings, readying themselves for their first flight. There is a good sized round pool with beautiful underwater lighting in the evenings and a large sun terrace with sunbeds and picnic table. Coast/Beach
Iztuzu Beach (also called Caretta Beach after the turtles that lay their eggs there) can be reached by minibus (dolmus - 30 minutes) or by boat from the town centre (a wonderfully leisurely 45 minutes - a beautiful journey down through reed beds, past rock tombs and an ancient city). The beach is long and inclines gently. There are sun umbrellas and loungers, a cafe and services.
Travel
Dalyan is only 30 minutes away from Dalaman Airport with flights from many UK airports.
Distances
Olu Deniz, Marmaris, Fethiye and other larger and more commercial tourist resorts are all easily accessible by hire car, public transport or tour.
Further details
The villa is 3 minutes from the local (Sercan) supermarket, 5 minutes from Migros, the national supermarket chain. A petrol station is by Sercan. Also within 5 minutes walks are local bars and restaurants, a delicatessen and the huge local Saturday market.

£120 deposit, non refundable if cancelled within 6 weeks of arrival. Balance 6 weeks prior to arrival. £100 breakages deposit (returned on departure). Book by email or telephone.

The tiling and numerous windows make it feel cool and airy, and the many Turkish rugs and pictures give the house an air of being much more than just a holiday home. 'We are a family of 4 from London and our 2 daughters are 4 and 7 years old. It was our first time in Turkey and our stay in Villa Artemis B made it a very good experience for all of us. The villa’s location was perfect for our family because it was close to 2 mini-supermarkets. Very convenient for those ‘emergencies’ like bread, milk and sweeties. Aside from that, the villa is also just a 5-6 minute walk to the centre of Dalyan where all the main shops, clubs and restaurants are.
