Accessibility
The villa would be suitable for a wheelchair user providing they convert the corner sofa into a single bed. There is a downstairs shower room and toilet. The villa itself has all amenities available on ground floor level with pool area on same level as ground floor (no steps).
Outside
Private pool with spectacular night-time lighting. Generous patio area with private gardens. All patio furniture including tables, chairs, recliners,BBQ and parasol provided. Private garden area, plus putting practice green.
Coast/Beach
The beach is approx a 15 min walk. Shuttle buses run every 30 mins too. Belek offers endless white beaches with its views of the Pine Forests in the background; the river flowing from the Taurus mountain is balm for the weary mind and body. The water is calm so it is safe for children to play and swim while you can relax and enjoy the sunbathing. For the sports enthusiast there is a wide variety of water sports to choose from. There are also many restaurants and bars on the beach!
Golf
Turkey has fast become 'the' golf destination for world golfers, who are discovering that the country offers all year round weather in just a few hours by plane. Belek is a true golfing 'paradise' for golfers with over 12 championship golf courses; two of which are designed by Faldo and Montgomery - with two new courses due to open 08. The courses cater for all levels of golfers and offer golf academies and many golf packages. Belek recently featured in 'Golf Worlds', Golf escapes 2007, as one of the golfing destination recommended. The quality of the courses are excellent and golfers can expect challenging - yet enjoyable - rounds of golf in magnificent surroundings!
Skiing
The Antalya region is known for its mild winters with sun bathing possible most of the year round. However, in winter it also offers the option of skiing and snowboarding approximately 1hr 30 mins from Belek, in the Beydag mountain range which is 50km north-west of Antalya. Saklikent resort offers winter sports. It also has restaurants and shops. In the months of March/April you can ski in the mornings and return to Belek to sunbathe in the afternoon. The skiing season lasts from Dec15 - April, best season Jan - March. The resort offers ski lifts, ski lessons, ski and snowboard hire.
Travel
Antalya Airport is approx 30 minute drive. Transfers to and from the airport can be arranged (email me). Car hire is not necessary, but if you wish to travel around you can organise car hire via Antalya airport or the Transfer driver can arrange this if you like.
Distances
Belek town centre is approximately 10 minutes walk from villa. Antalya City is approximately 30 minutes drive away. Manavgat and the romantic, Roman Side town with its ancient ruins and temples/amphitheatre are approximately 35 minutes drive away. Memories to treasure!
Further details
Many of the local banks offer ATM facilities which allow you to draw from your bank account at home. Turkish currency is Lira but many establishments will accept Euro, Bank of England Sterling and Dollars. Shops, bars and restaurants stay open to very late. Belek offers religious places of worship for most religions, in the Garden of Tolerance. There is a Mosque, a Synagogue, a Temple and a Church where inter denominational services take place.

A deposit of 50% made at time of booking and remainder of deposit paid 4 weeks before rental begins.

What a wonderful holiday experience in a gorgeous Villa!
The beautiful Villa boasted everything we needed to make our stay a "Turkish Delight!" Our 6 year old son just adored the private pool and we, as parents, appreciated the privacy it afforded. Inside and outside the Villa was equally beautiful and spotlessly clean. The owner emailed us promptly with lots of advice and helpful suggestions to make our stay such a pleasure. We have many happy memories from our stay in this most friendly of countries and will most certainly come back!
