Kingfisher villa is a brand new villa to rent, furnished in May 2008. The building is finished to an extremely high quality and is in an excellent position to enjoy the clear blue/turquoise Mediterranean sea. The kitchen is well equipped and the large open plan sitting room/kitchen also contains a large dining room, yet still with plenty of room to move about. All bedrooms have modern en-suite bathrooms, each floor shares a large balcony between the two bedrooms. The pool has good sized steps leading into it and is of varying depths. There are lots of outside spaces to enjoy both sun and shade. There is also a good sized roof terrace.

Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Kalkan is getting more visitors in the winter and rental of this villa is possible, although depending on the winter month, the pool may not be available. Please contact us for enquiries.

| Bedrooms: | Bedrooms 1 and 3 with double beds. Bedrooms 2 and 4 with twin beds. All bedrooms have good-sized wardrobes and drawer space. |
| Bathrooms: | All en-suite bathrooms have large showers with cabinets, modern wash basin and wc. There is a separate wc on the entrance level. |
| Kitchen: | Large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, cooker, hob, kettle, toaster etc. The washing machine is on the top floor above the bedrooms. |
| Living Rooms: | The living room is off an open plan hall from the main entrance. It has large leather sofa and armchair, TV (satellite channels), working fireplace, telephone for local calls and also wireless internet connection. There is a large dining table & 8 chairs. |

Outside
Outside the kitchen is a large outside dining table and chairs, ideal for outside dining. There is a terrace by the pool with quality furniture, sunbeds and sunshades. A path runs right around the villa, edged with beautiful plants. There is a barbecue for use. There are large balconies on each floor which can be shared from either bedroom. There is also a roof terrace with table and chairs. The pool is private to the villa, is about 10x5m2, and has the larger circular steps making access into the pool safer and more pleasurable.
Coast/Beach
The local Kisla beach is 2 minutes walk, and there are a choice of other beaches and beach facilities in Kalkan. The beautiful 18km beach of Patara is 30 mins drive away, and the stunning Kaputas beach with its turquoise and blue colours is only 10 mins drive.
Travel
Dalaman airport is the closest to Kalkan - approx 1 hour 45 mins drive. Transfers can be organized. Car hire is a nice-to-have option, especially if you want to travel round this beautiful area.
Distances
Kas is slightly larger than Kalkan and is a stunning 25 min drive. Fethiye is a larger town with rock tombs and harbour, and is about one hour 10 mins drive. There are many historic sites within 20-90 mins drive, including Xanthos, Patara, Letoon, Pinara and Tlos. The gorge of Saklikent is just over an hour away, and, as well as its stunning natural beauty, provides a pleasant relief from the hot summer sun.
Further details
Kalkan is a wonderful place full of delightful restaurants, shops and cafes. It now has 3 main supermarkets and 4 banks with ATM. One never tires of looking out to sea and the islands, and taking out one of the local boats (gulets) is one of the most popular activities, stopping off at various points for swimming and refreshments. The local people are delightful and always willing to assist.
Booking notes
On booking, 25% of the rental will secure your booking. The balance must be sent 8 weeks before the start of your holiday, together with a damage deposit of £150. This damage deposit will be returned to you within 2 weeks after your last day in Kalkan. Transfers and car hire can be arranged for your holiday if required.
