The first impression you get as you walk through the gate to enter the Miranda Garden’s apartments is ‘Wow’. You will have access to an extraordinarily large swimming pool and sunbathing area. The apartment features balconies on each side and the main balcony offers up a view of the pool below.

Coast/Beach
Approx 10 minutes to beach if walking. In our apartment you will find a guide to the best, and best value bars and restaurants in town and near the beach. Our friends will pick you up and take you into town to eat, where you can stay for as long as you like. In Turkey, restaurants often collect guests and take them home at no charge, this is how they do things. A short walk will take you to the new marina development.
Travel
Bodrum Airport is approx 1 hour. We can arrange transfers in an air-conditioned people carrier, where only you and your guests will be picked up from the airport (no other parties) at the same price as others will charge for communal transfers.
Distances
Dolphin Square, the new marina development and the beach are very close, as is the Turkish baths.

On arrival you will find a ‘welcome basket’ comprising of milk, butter, tea, coffee and fruit. Altinkum is a friendly resort and you will find the locals 'laid back' and relaxed in their attitude towards tourists. You will get to know them quickly and they will enjoy nothing better than chatting over a glass of Turkey's famous apple tea. Don't be surprised if you return year after year to visit your new found friends! About 15 years ago, the people from large cities around Turkey such as Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir first came to Altinkum (altin: gold + kum: sand) and started to build their own summer houses and holiday homes. Altinum means 'golden sands', and with its beaches which gently shelve into the inviting turquoise blue Aegean, you will soon see how the resort got its name. Excellent Beach life in Altinkum includes water sports, or pedal boats for those who prefer the pace of life a bit slower. Sun beds and umbrellas are available for rent and once settled there will be no need for you to move until sunset. Their are many trips available, food is great and inexpensive, and shopping opportunities are everywhere. There are a number of areas in Altinkum to eat out. There are 2 restaurants a few short steps from your apartment, and there are restaurants, bars and clubs, along the beach. Altinkum is spread out, it has many beaches, markets and shopping areas but tourists find getting around easy because transport is in many cases free. When you arrive in your apartment you will find a welcome guide which recommends a number of restaurants. Most restaurants in Altinkum offer a free car service. In other words all you need to do is choose a restaurant and call them, and they will pick you up and take you to the restaurant – for free. They’ll also bring you home if you ask nicely! Using the free car service is how many holiday makers get from one place to another because once you have eaten, you don’t have to go straight back to your apartment.
