Villa Jamara is situated in a quiet area yet only 5 minutes walk from the quayside, shops and restaurants. It is spacious (120m ground floor, 80m 1st floor) and finished to the highest standard. It is conveniently placed for you to enjoy all the amenities Dalyan has to offer. There are 4 en-suite bedrooms each with a balcony or terrace overlooking the villa's own floodlit pool. There is a separate paddling pool which doubles as a jacuzzi, outside shower and barbecue. The traditional Turkish seating area (Kirsch) complete with sumptuous cushions is where you can relax and enjoy the mountain views. There are 8 sun loungers with padded cushions and table and chairs for outside dining. Inside, the villa has every possible convenience including air-conditioning, 3 comfortable sofas, 2 of which convert to beds, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, full-size oven/hob/grill, large fridge/freezer. There is also satellite TV, DVD, video, music centre and security safe.

Changeover day
Our preferred changeover day is a Friday. Please do not arrive before 3pm and you must vacate by 10am.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | 4 spacious bedrooms all en-suite. 2 king-size and 2 twin rooms with quality mattresses and bedding, opening via double doors to balconies (upstairs) terraces (downstairs). Hairdryers in all rooms and plenty of storage. |
| Bathrooms: | Each en-suite bathroom has a shower, wc, washbasin and integral bidet. |
| Kitchen: | Modern kitchen units with granite work tops. Full-size oven, grill, hob, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, plus full range of cutlery, crockery and utensils. |
| Utility Room: | 2 washing machines are situated in the outside depot. There is an ironing board and iron and a vacuum cleaner |
| Living Rooms: | Large open plan living area. Spectacular vaulted gallery overlooking the ground floor. Three comfortable sofas (2 convert to double sofa beds). Satellite TV, video, CD, DVD and music centre, small library and selection of games. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Bathroom towels, pool towels and bedlinen are provided. The villa is cleaned and linen changed once a week. More frequent maid service can be arranged if required. |

Outside
The villa is surrounded by its own garden which is planted with trees, shrubs and flowers. The swimming pool is flood lit at night and has a separate jacuzzi. There is a patio area with 8 sun loungers with padded cushions and tables and chairs for outside eating. Stone barbecue and outside shower. Kirsch - Traditional Turkish outside seating area with sumptuous cushions. There are 4 mountain bikes for you to explore the beautiful surroundings
Coast/Beach
The beach can be reached by water taxi which takes about 30 minutes and is a wonderful trip in itself. The local dolmus (mini bus) takes about 20 minutes and is scenically beautiful. Both ways are inexpensive and I would recommend you try them both. It is 12km to cycle and hilly! The quayside and dolmus station are 5 minutes walk away. The lake and river can also be accessed from here (very beautifiul).
Travel
Dalaman airport is 25 minutes drive from the villa. Your airport transfer is INCLUDED in our price. We have never found it necessary to hire a car but they are available nearby. A taxi from the town costs about £2 which can be useful if it is very hot and you have been shopping.

5 minutes walk to quayside, shops and restaurants.
20 minute walk to ancient city of Kaunos.
75 minutes drive to Marmaris.
45 minutes drive to Fethiye.
3 hours drive to Ephesus.
Further details
Dalyan is in an environmentally protected area that combines stunning natural beauty with historical interest. The Dalyan River winds past ancient Rock Tombs and the ruined city of Kaunos, to the sea. The 30 minute river-boat ride takes you to Iztuzu beach which is ideal for swimming and sunbathing, It is here that the endangered Loggerhead Turtle (Caretta Caretta) lay their eggs. Apart from the beauty and tranquillity of this wonderful place, the hospitality and friendliness of the local people is a joy to experience. The cuisine is varied and caters for all tastes. There are many restaurants, bars and shops but do not expect many too discos and nightclubs (there are one or two!)
Other things to do include: mudbaths, cycling, diving, Turkish Baths, fishing, bird watching, Gentlemen, you must visit the local barber. There are many excursions available, the Gulet Cruise from Gocek is magical.
Booking notes
A deposit of £150 per week booked is required to secure a booking. The balance will be due 8 weeks before departure. A security deposit of £200 is to be paid with the balance. This cheque will not be banked and will be returned after your visit providing the villa is left in good condition.

'This villa is truly magnificent. The property is extremely spacious with beautiful furnishings. The pool is a good size and midnight drinks in the Jacuzzi make for a memorable holiday. The view from the villa is amazing. Swimming in the pool next to mammoth mountains is quite breathtaking. Dalyan was a wonderful surprise. The town was bigger than we expected and had a lot to offer.
