This is a beautiful self-catering, fully air conditioned beachfront apartment with fantastic views of the beach, sea and sunsets! Situated right on Calis Beachfront and lying to the West of the picturesque harbour town of Fethiye, it is a small beach resort backed by the pine clad Toures Mountain range and enjoys fabulous views over the Bay. The people are very friendly and there is a good choice of bars and restaurants just behind the beachfront promenade. Fethiye town is good for shops and nightlife and is only 10 mins by taxi or 20 mins by scenic boat ride away. Calis is a peaceful resort ideal for couples and families.

Notes on accommodation
Accommodation is ideal for 2 couples or families. No smoking in the apartment please. The quiet restaurant next door (Letoon) has free wi-fi if you buy a coffee or dongle hire can be arranged for £3 per day or £20 per week depending on availability.

Travel
Dalaman airport is 38 miles away and takes approximately 40 mins by taxi. Transfers cost is £70 return for 1-2 people and £80 return for 3-4 people. Return transfer fees are payable in sterling to the driver. Please note: there is a £10 visa fee (covers 3 mths) payable at the airport on arrival.

Local shops and restaurants are only a short walk away.
A new hospital is only 5 mins by car.
Further details
Fethiye is Turkey's premier scuba diving location and caters for both experienced and novice divers. Bareboat sailing at Gocek is only half an hour along the coast.
The apartment is in one of the best, (if not the best) locations along the sea front in Calis (pronounced Challis.) The promenade ends within 200m of the access road to the apartment (1085 Sokak) which has some parking places at the top end near the promenade. The promenade is a vehicle free zone. The apartment is clean and airy and has breathtaking views out towards Calis bay, Fethiye and the Mountains between Calis bay and Dalaman. At night, if you take some time to study the locality, you can see the Lycian tombs lit up on the hillside above Fethiye. The rooms and balconies are spacious and were adequate for comfortably accommodating four adults and a child.(our party.) We were very happy to have split bathrooms and this made such a difference in the mornings and evenings when the mad rush to get washed and changed occurs. The appliances are all new and the furniture comfortable and clean; we were glad we chose this apartment and can highly recommend it.
Booking notes
30% deposit is payable on booking and the balance due 3 weeks prior to departure. A £150 refundable security deposit is payable with the balance.

It's a great place to chill out and a good base to visit some fantastic beaches and enjoy a real Turkish experience.
The area is being improved year after year and for 2012 the beaches are clean and being serviced by life guards and there are no new buildings being erected in the area.
