This property is ideal for all ages and perfect for those with families. It is in the town yet quiet and secluded. Bars, restaurants and shops is less than 15 mins drive away from Villa Sahin.
English speaking family member to greet you on arrival to show you around villa and hand over the keys.

If sight seeing, dining out and watersports are more your thing there are also many tourist attractions to visit. For a family holiday you have the beauty of fun around your own private pool, there are also three amazing beaches 15 mins away for great days out

Outside
Swimming pool area. The pool is 24 sq.m. with a non-slip paved surrounding. This area also has table and chairs, sunbeds and a built-in barbecue for daytime snacks or maybe a midnight feast! Pool will be cleaned and garden watered daily (early evening after use).
The terrace is fully furnished with table and chairs, parasol and sun loungers. A wonderful setting for lazy days and perfect evenings admiring the views and watching the stars over this beautiful village.

Coast/Beach
Beaches- Patara best known for its miles of golden beach, there is a cafe’ on the beach for snacks and drinks, there is also a Roman ruins site with lots of history. Kalkan has its own beach local to shops and restaurants. Kaputas a tranquil beach cove with a snack stools and umbrellas for hire. All beaches are around 15 mins away from Villa Sahin.

Some of them offer water-sports such as snorkelling, scuba-diving, wind-surfing, diving, sailing, fishing, canoeing, boat trip, sea kayaking at the kekova.
Horse riding and other fun activities. For the more energetic you can also take part in mountain climbing, trekking, parascending, caving and walking, all available locally.

Transfer (approx) 1hour 45 minutes. We will be happy to make transfer and car hire arrangments for you at local rates when you book your holiday. Villa Sahin uses a reputable local company based in Kalkan. Also there are motobikes and scooters for hire.

Distances
Many places of interest to visit. The ancient sites of Xanthos, Saklikent gorge, Letoon and Pinara are a short journey away. Also within easy reach are Kekova, Demre, Myra, Phaesilis, and Olympos.

KALKAN/UZUMLU AREA
Nearby uzumlu and the Kalkan/Kas area
Uzumlu is a little Farming village full of vineyards and olive groves. The main source of income for the locals is selling fruit produce such as oranges, lemons, pomegranates and figs. A local shop is within walking distance, where you will be able to buy the essentials. You can also arrange to have freshly baked bread delivered to your door each day. There is a tea garden situated in the middle of the village where you can sit and have a traditional Turkish tea or maybe a cold beer.

Kalkan, just a 15 minute ride away from the villa lays the sophisticated harbour town of Kalkan. One of the most picturesque and charming in Turkey, with cobbled streets and clad white-washed houses winding down to the marina, you can dine overlooking the yachts moored in the crystal clear waters. There is a vast choice of harbour side and rooftop restaurants, also plenty of snack bars which may be more suitable for young families. There are a couple of bars around if you want to relax and have a few drinks and many boutiques and gift shops selling local crafts if shopping is more your thing! The town has three banks with cash machines, and also a post office where you can change money for the local currency. There are several supermarkets a chemist and general stores for all your needs. Kalkan is perfect for day trips to the beach or romantic evening strolls. The local people are so friendly they make your stay a memorable one; and you will just want to keep coming back. The local village is 10 mins walk. Kalkan town is 5km. Kas town is 15km.

Booking, terms and conditions.
A £250 non-refundable deposit will secure your booking, the balance remaining will be due 8 weeks prior to your holiday. Payment for your holiday can be made by cheque or bank transfer. We reserve the right to re-advertise dates if the balance has not been received by the due date!

We have had several previous villa holidays via high street travel agents but none of them can match the excellent service that we have received from yourselves and your family. The location of Villa Sahin is superb for a totally relaxed holiday. It is maintained to a very high standard and was very clean. Patara beach was lovely. The local shop was very useful for our daily bread and ice creams for the evenings. We also enjoyed the chance to buy fruit and vegetables from the local farmer that stopped nearby the villa on Thursday. We felt very well looked after by your family and we knew that if we had any problems they were just a phone call away, which was very reassuring.
