Relax and enjoy the tranquility and peaceful surroundings our villa boasts. Kalkan harbour is just a 15 minute ride away from us. The comfortable lounge overlooks the upstairs terrace area and provides you with satellite TV,DVD,CD player and telephone for booking local restaurants, taxis and tours. Outside, you can cool down and swim in your own private freshwater swimming pool. BBQ area is fully furnished with dinning table and chairs and also loungers. Umbrellas are provided for shade in the heat for you to relax and unwind, the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee, read a book or simply chill-out. The villa is set in lovely gardens with Mediterranean flowers, grapevines, olive, pomegranate and fig trees. A romantic setting and perfect for family holidays.

Notes on accommodation
Property suitable for children but they must be kept under adult supervision around the pool. This property is a non smoking environment fitted with fire alarms although there is plenty of comfortable outside space e.g poolside, terrace and balcony's.
For those who need to keep in touch the outside world Villa Sahin has WI-FI, internet access (bring your laptop).

Outside
The pool is 24 sq.m. with a non-slip paved surrounding. This area also has table and chairs, sunbeds and a built-in barbecue for daytime snacks or maybe a midnight feast! Pool will be cleaned and garden watered daily (early evening after use). The terrace is fully furnished with table and chairs, parasol and sun loungers. A wonderful setting for lazy days and perfect evenings admiring the views and watching the stars over this beautiful village.
Coast/Beach
Kalkan beach is 15 minutes from Villa Sahin along with Kaputas and Patara takes around 20 minutes.
Golf

Although the season officially finishes at the end of October, November in Uzumlu of Kalkan can be fabulous. The weather is still good; the sea is still warm from the summer and the tourists all but disappear. A lot of the restaurants are closed but there is still plenty of choice for a great meal out and it's a wonderful time for visiting those ancient monuments and sights that you don't have the energy for in the full heat of summer! We offer a fixed price of £300 per week for November, December, £300 for March and April and £300 for January and February. The pool is normally closed at the end of October but this can be delayed indefinitely according to demand. Please call us for more information as we would rather have someone using our villa than it be empty.

Staying at Villa Sahin can be any holiday you want it to be. If you are looking for a haven of peace then you can easily lock yourselves away, swim, sunbathe, read, relax shop and enjoy! If sight seeing exploring and discovery is more your thing there are so many tourist attractions to visit around the Villa. For a family holiday you have the beauty of fun around your own private pool. There are also three amazing beaches Kalkan, Patara and Kaputas for great days out. All around 15 minutes away .

Beaches: There are several beautiful beaches in and around Kalkan. The main beach in Kalkan is next to the harbour and old town. It has crystal clear aquamarine water and white pebbles. Sunbeds and umbrellas can be hired for around 3 Turkish Lira a day. It's location next to the harbour make it a very popular place for soaking up the atmosphere of the early evening and watching the boats come back to harbour. Kaputus Beach 15 minutes from Villa sahin Kalkan is beautiful Kaputus beach, a sandy cove at the foot of a mountain gorge. The turquoise water is incredible and this beach is used in many travel brochures for Turkey . Patara Beach Patara beach is a completely undeveloped 18 km stretch of sandy beach voted one of the best in the world by Times online for 2005. is part of a national park and there are some very nice Lycian ruins a short walk away. 20 mins drive way from villa sahin .
Travel
We can arrange your airport tranfers and car hire with a local company. Flights are available from Stansted and all major U.K airports to Dalaman. From Dalaman your transfer time to villa sahin is just 1 hour 45 minutes. The transfer route itself is your first introduction to the beautiful landscape of Turkey.

Lazy days, sophisticated nights, an abundance of superb restaurants, along with some of the nicest locals you could wish to meet. Unspoilt by mass tourism, yet offering plenty for all to enjoy Uzumlu Kalkan will present you with an idyllic holiday destination - you'll simply want to return to time and time again.
Activities: River Canoeing Enjoy a day canoeing on the Xanthos River near to Uzumlu of Kalkan.Experienced guides take you downstream through some beautiful scenery. A barbeque lunch is served along the way, and there is an opportunity for a revitalising mud bath before the tour finishes at beautiful Patara beach for a swim Boat Trips Relax on a day trip around the bays and Islands of Kalkan on a traditional Turkish Gullet and visit beautiful Kaputus beach, Snake Island , the blue cave and aquarium bay. Tours leave at 10.00 am from the harbour and return around 5.00 pm . There is plenty of time for swimming, and lunch is served on board. A very popular trip is to the ancient sunken city of Simena in the area of Kekova, one of the most beautiful areas of the Lycian/Turquoise coast. Water sports Jet skiing, water skiing, parasailing and banana boat rides are available from the beach clubs around the bay.

Dear Donna and Mehmet, thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful villa! Stunning views, wonderful countryside and warm welcoming people! This was our first time in Turkey and they were experiencing a heatwave, thank goodness for the air conditioning and the fabulous pool! The villa was equipped with everything we needed, and Engin, Saim and Senay were so lovely to us all...one of the high lights of the holiday was our invitation to experience a Turkish wedding party, and also the delightful food that Senay brought to the villa! The local villagers were extremely friendly, always happy to see us, and to try and "chat".
