The villa is spacious, tastefully furnished and is surrounded by unusually large private gardens containing a 32 sq. m. private pool, adjacent 4 sq. m. 13 hydro-air jet Jacuzzi and terraces, the garden terrace provides the perfect setting for al fresco dining while you can enjoy the sun on the pool terrace and take advantage of the shade on the vine terrace, all surrounded by bourganvillea, hibiscus and many other exotic plants. However location makes Kulenin Evi extra special, there are few villas actually in the old town, the majority are in the hills surrounding Kalkan. Kulenin Evi is wonderfully positioned 200m from the beach and 2 minutes walk to the shops and restaurants enabling you to fully enjoy the amenities and atmosphere of Kalkan old town

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. The above prices are for 8 people which is the normal occupancy of the villa. There is a £50 per week additional charge for each additional person including infants. The maximum occupancy of the villa is 9 adults/children plus 2 infants in travel cots accommodated in the double bedrooms. For July 2009 only a 2 week booking from 13 July is now available.

We try to be flexible on changeover day though in July and August changeover day is Monday

Accessibility
The villa is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Outside
There is a private freshwater swimming pool, about 32 sq.m. plus a 4 sq.m. Jacuzzi with a 13 jet hydro-air massage system and 3 terraces with sunbeds, umbrellas and tables and chairs to sunbathe, dine or BBQ or sit in the shade under the vines. The villa is set in a large private garden which is well stocked with bougainvilleas, jasmine, hibiscus and many other exotic flowers and shrubs. There are also lemon and orange trees, bananas, figs and olives in the garden. In addition you can enjoy a BBQ on the roof terrace where you can enjoy spectacular views over Kalkan Bay.
Coast/Beach
The villa is only 200m from Kalkan's pebble beach, just a couple of minute stroll from the villa so an early morning swim in the sea could be on your agenda.
Travel
The nearest airport is at Dalaman which is 1 3/4 hours drive. Airport transfers can be arranged for you.
Distances
The villa is 150 m from the main street in Kalkan village where you will find shops and restaurants. Supermarkets, banks, taxis, the post office are a 200m walk along a level road.
Further details
Kalkan is situated on the South West corner of the glorious turquoise coast of Turkey, surrounded by the Taurus mountains. You can relax in the street cafes or spend time in one of the nearby beach clubs, which offer sunbathing, swimming, water sports and restaurant facilities. You can browse in the shops in the narrow streets which wind through the town and which stay open until about midnight, looking at glassware, silver, jewellery, clothes, carpets and the traditional hand painted pottery. In the evening there are a multitude of places to eat in Kalkan, from the harbour side and famous roof terrace restaurants to the street cafes and bars. For the more adventurous you can hire a jeep to tour inland or along the coast or you can paraglide in Kas or Olu Deniz. You can take part in the many water sports offered, scuba diving, sailing, snorkelling, river canoeing on the Xanthos, cruising on a gulet, parasailing or just swimming.
Booking notes
A booking deposit of £200 per week is required on booking, final payment is due 8 weeks before your holiday.
A damage deposit of £250 is required, refundable on satisfactory checkout.
Guest comments
We, reluctantly, returned last night after a fabulous weeks break. Your villa really made the holiday. The pool/Jacuzzi took the sting out of the hottest part of the day. We loved Kalkan. The boat trip was perfect. We are working hard to get back into our normal routine again but luckily with fond memories of a wonderful holiday still buzzing around our heads.

We had a great holiday thank you. The villa was lovely and so convenient for the town, yet still amazingly quiet. We really enjoyed having easy access to the town and it was particularly nice that the children could wander in and out whenever they felt like it, even if we didn't!
