Coast/Beach
The beautiful 2nd beach of Altinkum is 350m away. Considered to be one of the finest in Turkey with beautiful golden sands gently shelving into the warm waters of the Aegean sea. You can hire sun loungers and parasols and there are a whole host of restaurants, cafes and shops eager to provide you with welcome refreshments at any time of the day (or night!) along the bustling seafront. 10/15mins walking to all beaches.
Golf
There is a golf course in process of being built 10 mins away. Completion expected next year.
Travel
The nearest airport is Bodrum 1 hour 15 minutes or Ismir which is 1 hour 40 minutes. Car hire is not needed, close to all amenities and regular buses which are very cheap.
Distances
Temple of Apollo (Roman ruins) and Aqua Park are a 10 minute bus ride away. Akbuk is 20 minutes drive away, a very pretty unspoilt area with coved blue flag beach with small islands to walk out to. Bafa lake is a 20 minute drive away, a lovely nature reserve, with nice walks and bird watching. Also, there is many excursions available very cheaply through local travel agents.
Further details
There are a vast array of restaurants, shops, banks, chemist and supermarkets all within easy reach of the penthouse also all restaurants are happy to pick you up and take you home at no cost. There are many cheap boat trips and day trips to many places nearby, such as the mud baths, which are a must! Trips over to the island of Kos, hot water springs, Roman city of Ephesus, City of Troy to name a few.
