Here you can admire charming medieval rural towns, rolling green hills and some fantastic renaissance art and architecture. From the top of this structure you can enjoy fabulous views of the scenic countryside. At Treia holiday accommodation you’ll also get the opportunity to witness an even that has survived since renaissance times – the Disfida del Bracciale event takes place at the start of August, and is an exciting ball game, similar to Basque pelota.
If you’d like a day at the beach then the Adriatic coast is no more than 45 minutes from Treia farmhouses, and offers a variety of resorts and numerous blue flag beaches. Civitanova Marche is a highlight, and features a lovely sandy beach next to a picturesque old fishing port. There are many other excellent spots along the shoreline, all within a short drive of villas in Treia; Cupra Marittima has a wonderful old-world charm, while Numana to the north is a bustling modern resort. Minutes from Treia self-catering farmhouses is the town of Macerata, whose wealth in renaissance times can be witnessed today in the historic palaces along the grand Corso Matteotti.
