Little Coconut 1 (Studio Apartment, Sleeps 2)

This studio apartment is delightfully appointed, fully air conditioned plus ceiling fan, with a double bed, plus lounge area with sofa, coffee table, TV with satellite channels, DVD Player and ADSL internet connection. En-suite shower room. Small kitchen with kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, small hob unit and sink etc. The patio doors (with fly screens) look out to the inviting pool set in a stunning courtyard. The covered terrace, which is at one end of the pool, has a dining table for outside dining, and a rattan sofa and armchairs for you to enjoy, all with ceiling fans overhead to help keep you cool. The other end of the pool has a Thai style thatched Sala - another spot to enjoy the shade or evening cocktails! All situated in gorgeous tropical gardens, beautifully lit at night!

Notes on accommodation
The pool is available for swimming all year as the outside temperature rarely drops below 26 degrees! A welcome pack will be provided, including tropical fruits, tropical flowers, a bottle of wine and other essentials. All bed linen and towels (not beach towels) are provided. Weekly maid service included. Laundry service available if required (small charge). The owners, Sue and Phil, are English speaking and on hand to answer any questions. Sorry, but strictly no smoking inside the studio apartments. Again sorry, but pets not allowed.

Accessibility
Although these studio apartments have not been specially constructed or adapted for wheelchair users, they are "fairly well" accessible for people with impaired mobility.

Outside
The studio apartments are approached via a long private drive, through beautiful tropical gardens with a small lake feature. There is a thatched Thai style gated entrance into the secluded private courtyard - all beautifully lit at night.

Coast/Beach
Stunning Nai Haan beach - just a 5 minute drive away, has crystal clear water and golden sand, ideal for swimming or snorkelling, and one or two good restaurants. Rawai Beach is just a 2 mins drive away and here you can catch a long tail boat out to one of the many idyllic tropical islands. The Studios are close to many good Bars & Restaurants. The busier Resorts of Kata, Karon and Patong are just a 15 minute drive away, with water sports and larger shopping facilities.

Golf
Phuket has many first class courses with standards of facilities undreamed of elsewhere. Caddies are provided at all courses, and green fees are surprisingly low.

Travel
Regular flights leave the UK via Heathrow etc. direct to Bangkok. Transfer from Bangkok to a short flight on to Phuket. We recommend Thai Airways although other airlines are often cheaper. We can arrange for a taxi to pick you up at Phuket Airport (cost approx £15 per trip), and we are located approx 50 mins from the airport, at the southern tip of Phuket Island. Car or bike hire can be arranged locally and we are only too pleased to help. If you have any further questions, please contact us.

Distances
Phrom Thep Cape - just a 5 min drive away, has stunning sunsets. Phuket Town - a 20 minute drive away, has good shopping malls, and a great cinema. Plus, we have detailed a 2 hour walk (with map), which take you around interesting Temples and old Mansions etc. Patong - famous for it's beach with every type of water-sport, but possibly more so for its outrageous nightlife! Elephant or horse riding - close by, and great fun! Zoo and Aquarium - both interesting and fun days out!

Further details
Phuket with it's beautiful beaches and idyllic offshore islands, enjoys all year round temperatures of between 26 degrees and 36 degrees, making it ideal for enjoying the many activities 12 months of the year! The raing season (Green Season) runs from May until the end of October, with the last 2 months having the most rainfall. However, even in the Green Season, there are still long periods of sunshine each day, making it a very nice time to visit Phuket. Sailing - with so many interesting islands offshore, and warm sea temperatures all year round, what sailing enthusiast could resist? Diving and snorkelling - the Andaman Sea has some of the best dive sites in the world, including the prestine Similian Islands, with stunning coral reefs and marine life. There are many PADI dive schools nearby.

Canoe adventure - in Phang Nga Bay, where you navigate through narrow passages and small caves into landlocked lagoons! A great day out. Phi Phi Islands are just a boat ride away. Thailand's "Jewel in the Crown", these islands are what dreams are made of. Visit beautiful Maya Bay where "The Beach" was filmed. You can catch a ferry from Phuket Town (approx 3 hour trip), or a speedboat from Rawai Beach (approx 30 min trip).

Thai food is renowned for its quality and diversity - and for being as much a feast for the eyes as for the stomach! We have many wonderful Restaurants close to the Studios - and will make recommendations on your arrival. Also, eating here is so much cheaper than expected - you can get a delicious meal for just 100 Thai Baht per head! Cookery classes held locally too! Why not learn how to cook your favourite dish so you can enjoy it back home? Temples - Phuket has many, the most important being Wat Chalong - just a 10 minute drive away. Thai people - there are so many good things to be said about Amazing Thailand, and the local Thai people are definitely to be included on the list. Always friendly, always smiling - a joy to get to know!

Booking notes
To confirm booking, send deposit for 20% of the overall rate. Balance of letting fee is due 6 weeks before commencement of let. Refundable breakages deposit of £100 required - payable with the balance of the letting fee (see above), and refunded on departure, subject to satisfactory property inspection.
