Outside
Large walled gardens which can be illuminated at night fully lawned and landscaped with many trees shrubs and plants central pathway leads to the swimming pool, very private and secure, ample in ground parking.
Coast/Beach
Perfectly safe and normally very empty beaches within 5 mins drive. Shallow and clear crystal blue water. Clean and ideal for kids, snorkelling kayaking etc or just relaxing under the numerous scattered coconut trees.
Golf
Santi Buri international and very spectacular golf course approx 10 minutes drive away.
Travel
Airport is 15-20 minutes drive away.
Ferries in Nathon to mainland or Koh Panang about 15 minutes by boat and famed for its full moon parties (not for the faint hearted or over 40s!! Numerous cheap car hire available as are bikes and scooters.
Distances
Many sights and places of interest around the island which can be driven around in 2/3 hours, town is only 5 minutes from the villa with Chaweng the busy centre town some 20 minutes away.

Plenty of local shops and many superb restaurants within a few miles drive plus local banks, shops and tourist attractions.

About the owner
Hi my name is David and i have a thai wife called tui although that is her thai short name!we have been married now for 9 years and she has lived in England for that period and is now a British citizen - we met on my travels around Thailand during which i visited and fell in love with koh samui - for those of you who have been before you will know its hard not to!
my friend and i decided to build our own villas and found the site where they now are built after quite a bit of searching - he stayed over there to over see the building project for 3 years (was supposed to be 2 but we are talking thailand now!) and it was not without its headaches but well worth it in the end
my wife and I go over to the villa about twice a year for 3/4 weeks as i still have a business to run in the uk
Why the owner chose a home in this location
we wanted to build our villa on the quieter side of the island away from the noise and night-life of chaweng and we found a large plot set about half a mile up in the hills overlooking the national marine park islands and looking down over the town of Nathan which is the provincial centre and has a large ferry port where you can sit and watch the boats and ships coming and going and take in the spectacular sunsets - they are awesome
