Condo 7J has a wrap-around balcony where everyday Thai life passes, monks collecting alms (7am)& often elephants passing. The sun sets over mountains in the distance and the beach is just a stroll under the condos which are built on columns. The development has 24hr security, friendly staff/office. There is an equipped gym for your use. 1.7 km from new private Bangkok Hospital & San Paulo Hosp. First beachside golf course just completed 1km away past Monkey Mountain. Notes on prices
A deposit of 1,500 baht per week is required on arrival to cover electricity/AC/water - meter is read on arrival and departure - any overpayment refunded.
Everyone uses the AC differently, either keeping it on full time or turned on when needed - the best option as the condo cools down very quickly.
I also charge at flat fee of 350Bpp on arrival for full cleaning on departure, incl laundering of towels, bed linens,duvets etc. A supplement of 75pp pw for over 2 persons is chargeable.
Changeover day
Departure time from condo 12 noon and arrival time 2.00pm onwards. There are shower facilities by both pools if you need to stay the day for a later flight. You can use the pool,the office will keep your cases secure. An day rate of £20 for late depart.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is situated on a corner of the 7th floor (8 floor total) and has a 50' wrap-around balcony where you have sea and mountain views of temples and sunset. Finished to a high standard with highly polished wooden lacquered floor, white walls, contemporary style you will feel immediately relaxed and on holiday! Main lobby with reception office - staff are happy to help and answer any questions. The sun is strong so wear high factor (pharmacy sell everything) wear hats, sun glasses and light cotton clothes. Should you need a doctor, medical facilities are second to none. The water in the condo is drinkable. This condominium is in pristine condition and kept to a high standard. The floor is high polished, lacquered wood and has never seen a shoe! You will see shoes outside all doors!

From the balcony you have a view of Koh Takiab village and Thai life passing by. The heart of the village is just 5 mins walk away with the fishing village and Golden Budda being a little further. There are views of the whole area and coastline one floor up from the roof-top pool and a stroll under the condo development you'll arrive at the infinity pool which is beachside. There are 2 pools, the roof top infinity pool is our favourite and runs almost the length of the building, this allows you to swim while enjoying panoramic views. The other is also infinity to the sea and is shaded by a beautiful old tree. There are sunbeds to use and a private exit onto the beach where you can walk to a restaurant at lunch or dinner. From the beach pool you have a wonderful views of Monkey Island, Hua Hin and out to sea, a tree as a centre feature provides excellent shade over sun beds.
Coast/Beach
The beach runs from Hua Hin town next to the Hilton hotel south 5km to Khao Takiab fishing village. A 20 minute walk from the apartment along the beach you'll find the fishing village and Golden Budda monkey sanctuary, a great place to explore with excellent views. The sea is usually warm and clear, Thai massage, pony rides, surfboards, sailing and banana boats are all available along the beach but not directly outside the condo. Hua Hin was a fishing village and is residence to the Thai King.
Golf
Thailand boasts some of the finest golf courses at reasonable prices, there are 8 courses within 40km of Hua Hin including the country’s first golf course located a few minutes from the railway station and about 10 minutes drive from our apartment. Golf equipment can be rented. Links to all the major golf courses can be found on our website/blog.
Hua Hin is a golfers paradise with 9 quality courses within a 10km radius. National Parks, waterfalls and endless white sandy beaches are all within an hours drive from the town.

Travel
Fly direct to Bangkok (Suvanabumi) airport. Hua Hin is 220km south west of Bangkok a 2 1/2 hour drive. I can give you details of executive taxi and driver to collect and deliver you to the airport/hotel in Bangkok. Daily train and bus services also run from Bangkok but take longer.
Distances
Baan Suan Rim Sai (House of the Happy Face) is situated on a wonderful 6 kilometre beach - one end is the town of Hua Hin and the other Koh Takiab fishing village and Monkey Mountain. A couple of local restaurant bars are just across the road, 7/11 convenient store & ATM opposite and local fooderies a walk away. The local green pick-up bus comes every10 mins and will pass Market Village (Tesco, Banks, shops, eateries etc) Hua Hin Grand market and the centre of Hua Hin. It costs only 10 baht.
Further details
Thailand is usually hot and humid with temperatures ranging from 27-35C during November to April which is the best time to visit, and 32-36C during the rest of the year. A healthy breeze often comes in from the sea which cools things down or in the evening inside the air-con comes into its own! A working fishing village, Thai Temple and an open zoo are all just 5 minutes away by car. Further afield you can explore the hills and waterfalls close to the Burmese boarder (45 minutes). The beautiful Sam Roy Yod National Park offers good walks, hills and caves to explore makes a great day out (45 minutes). Driving is on the left, car hire is available on your local driving license however an International License is advisable to obtain full insurance. Moped hire from the village does not require a license. Visas Nationals from the EU will be granted a 30 day tourist visa stamp at the immigration desk. For longer stays or other types of visa see the Thai embassy website. Less than 10 minutes drive by local bus or car is a new shopping mall with plenty of good eateries, banks, a supermarket and many stalls selling clothing and local handicraft. Internet Wi-fi is available for a very modest fee paid direct to the apartment. The car park and reception office are on the ground floor. The building management provide 24 hr security and assistance; a security guard will provide a trolley and assist with carrying bags, cases and shopping. The office will be help to the best of their English language capabilities to offer advice on such matters as transportation and language. Beer O'Clock is a bar/breakfast opposite, run by a Torry who will always be pleased to offer advice any time you drop in for breakfast or a beer.
Booking notes
A deposit of one week rent to reserve condo, then the balance 8 weeks prior to arrival. A named responsible adult over the age of 21 is required for all bookings. Strictly non-smokers only. We will arrange changeover dates and times on a case by case basis. This condo with a beautiful highly lacquered wood floor and white furniture may not be suitable for toddlers or young children. A security deposit of £200 to cover any unlikely damages. This will refunded to you.

My name is Louise and I am a Longhaul Stewardess for a well known airline thus I have had the opportunity to fly all over the world and see many countries but chose Hua Hin in Thailand for my holiday home.
This is because I believe Thailand has the most to offer the savvy traveller - Thailand's diverse culture, great transport system, friendly happy people, its safe and beautiful, has wonderful cuisine and shopping to die for! Hospitals and dentists are world class.
Here its possible to relax, explore, eat, shop and have a 2 hr massage every day without breaking the bank!

Hua Hua is called by Thais - The Riviera of Thailand!
The condo is located away from the busy town centre about 4km south along the 6km beach. Night life here is quiet. If you want excitement Hua Hin town is minutes drive away, the night market, bars, plenty of Thai and western restaurants, clubs and pubs. Most Thais eat out as food is fantastic from clean,cheap, v tasty local rests.on the street to 5* hotels & restaurants. We love walking so the long sandy beach is a beautiful place to truly relax, swim or ride. The beach can left at numerous points to find coffee shops, noodle stalls & or treat yourself to some excellent food at several 5 star hotels. 5 mins walk is the Golden Budda where monkeys play freely, a traditional fishing village where I buy fresh seafood,& outstanding views

A local pick-up van passes every 15 mins to take you for 10b (15p) into town where you will find everything incl. markets and restaurants built on stilts in the sea- oriental massage spas, beauty salons, boutiques - the shopping is mindblowing with endless bargains
This Condominium boasts an infinity pool onto the beach and a roof-top pool. Set on a tranquil part of the beach and most temporary residents only come at the weekend so the block is quiet perfect for relaxation and peace without interruption.
