This villa is a recently completed, 6 bedroom family villa, located on the south-western tip of the tropical island of Phuket within 3 minutes drive of Nai Harn beach. This luxury property is split over two levels, and it can readily accommodate 12 people, plus providing baby cots, aswell as accommodating 2 maids in separate quarters. The villa has two 50’ flat screen TVs, DVDs, Cable TV and wireless internet throughout, plus a gym/playroom with exercise bicycle and cross-trainer. It also offers a semi-self contained second living area with bedrooms for that second family, or teenage children The larger bedrooms either have sliding double doors taking you onto a private balcony or directly accessing the private swimming pool, all with stunning valley views. We also offer a full service to the villa including a complimentary welcome pack on arrival, preparation of meals and arranging of drivers if required (at extra cost) and English speaking support during your stay.

Changeover day
Our standard check out time is 12 noon. If you wish to stay after this time we will usually try to accommodate you at no extra charge. Check in time is 3pm, but again we will try to accommodate early arrivals if possible.

Notes on accommodation
The villa has individual, remote controlled air conditioning units in all rooms, as well as ceiling fans. The villa welcomes children of all ages, and can provide experienced child minding services. A cook can be provided, who can also prepare basic children's meals if required. A driver and minivan can also be arranged for your party with knowledge of the island making getting around, parking and getting the most of your holiday much easier.
Accessibility
The villa is accessed from the private road leading directly to the car port, with one step leading through the double front door into the two storey house. All rooms are within the main building and not accessed by having to go outside at all. Wheelchair users could comfortably access the villas ground floor bedrooms and living room, but there are six steps leading from the villa to the swimming pool, outside BBQ and lower sundeck area.
Outside
Outside there is a large sun terrace on two levels, with beautiful gardens, complete with several sun beds to soak up the sun. The tempting 10x5m infinity edged pool and integral Jacuzzi is adjacent to the sala, containing another dining table seating 8 and additional seating. A gas BBQ makes it ideal for entertaining or alfresco dining.
Coast/Beach
The villa is located within an easy 10 minute walk, or 2 minute drive of Nai Harn beach, in the South of Phuket. Nai Harn is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island and it not only offers golden sands and azure water, but a selection of restaurants, bars and shops, or you can relax and have a massage or pedicure. At Rawai and Chalong (5 and 10 mins drive away respectively) you will find long tail and speed boats available, so you can visit any of the beautiful out laying islands.
Golf
There are six golf courses in Phuket, ranging from a distance of 20 minutes to 1 hour away. There is a brand new 9 whole golf course, located 10 minutes away, recently completed, and driving range.
Travel
Phuket International Airport is about 50 minutes away. We will arrange airport transfers for arrival and departure, and a ‘meet and greet’ service will ensure you a familiar with the villa and all the services offered. Car rental or motor bike hire is recommended in order for you to get the most out of visiting the Island. An air-conditioned vehicle with driver can be arranged if you want a stress free holiday.
Distances
The villa is located in the south east of the island and is a great base for visiting Kata, Karon, Patong and Phuket. All tourist attractions are easily reached within 10-40 minutes with a host of activities available locally. There is a number of mini markets, selection of supermarkets and bakeries only a short drive from the villa and a variety of restaurants, shops and bars on your doorstep.
Further details
Phuket has a wide range of activities to keep guests of all ages entertained. Suggested activities locally include elephant trekking, monkey and snake shows, quad bike and off road buggying, golf, fishing trips, boat hire and horse riding. Phuket is a beautiful destination to explore marine life and has many world class dive sites. Diving excursions can be arranged through reputable dive companies, mainly located in Chalong a short 10 minute drive away. Nai Harn is a spectacular pristine beach and is a perfect place to unwind, whether it be having a massage or sipping sun downers in one of the many restaurants overlooking the beach. It is an ideal spot for surfing at the end of the dry season and is an ideal secluded bay for mooring yachts. It is also possible to hire kayaks, take sailing lessons or go parascending. Excellent night life is not far away in the lively spots of Karon, Kata and Patong about 10 to 30 minutes away. There is an extensive range of both Thai and international restaurants locally. People flock from all over Phuket to enjoy sun downers at Promthep Cape, the southern most tip of the island. There are two major shopping malls in Phuket, Central festival is located in the centre of the island and Jungceylon in Patong. Both are large international shopping and entertainment centres with cinemas, restaurants, international and local shops. Many sporting enthusiasts come from all over the world to train at the Muay Thai camps locally. Lessons can be taken on a half day basis.

About the owner
I am an English woman, who has been living in Phuket for 6 years, after moving here from Hong Kong, where I spent 9 years. I have two daughters at the British International School here and love Phuket, thus I own the house I live in and other Villas for rental. They have only recently been finished and are designed as family homes to rent out to holiday makers who wish to visit Phuket and have all the luxuries and conveniences of home. I live just round the corner from the villas, so can help answer any questions you may have about the Villa, Nai Harn or Phuket, in order to make your holiday a great experience. Why the owner chose a home in this location
I moved to Phuket 6 years ago and love the island... I live in Nai Harn, in the south of the island, just round the corner from Emerald Villa. I love the area here because not only do we have one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, with many activities to suit everybody, but you are away from the commercialism of the high end resorts, that destroy the real feeling of Thailand. In saying that, luxury and comfort are still offered, but not at high expense... you can still enjoy local meals at beach restaurants or enjoy Thai cooking in the luxury of your villa, or go out to one of the many higher end restaurants. There are many activities, shops, good grocery stores, bars and nightlife all within easy access, but you also have the opportunity to enjoy and relax in unspoilt Phuket!
