Astasia Villa provided wonderful homely accommodation for a really relaxing vacation, in a tropical paradise setting. The spacious villa is situated a few metres from Natien Beach with its white sands and warm waters of the Gulf of Siam. The villa is pure elegance and the colourful garden with its 9 meter long pool provides a wonderful place to relax.

Notes on accommodation
Astasia Villa is a large luxury villa that can sleep up to 10 people and a baby. There are 3 large en-suite bedrooms, with spacious dressing room, 2 of which are also equipped as extra bedrooms, 1 with fold away bunk beds, the other with an over-sized single bed. All rooms are air-conditioned and have ceiling fans. Downstairs provides elegant dining, (inside and out), and really comfortable lounge seating. State of the art entertainment is provided, and beautiful integral controllable lighting allows you to create the mood of your choice. The villa is especially suitable for children, and the beach a few meters away is especially safe. Large expanse of sand with shallow water.
Outside
Within throwing distance of the calm flowing waters of the Gulf of Siam, Astasia Villa is surrounded by it's own delightful tropical gardens, which encloses a stunning 36 square meter sparkling swimming pool - complete with jacuzzi seat. There are sunbeds and lots of chairs on the decks surrounding the pool, an external shaded Sala area and even a novelty bucket shower. 3 restaurants are within walking distance, and dozens more a few minutes by car.
Coast/Beach
A few steps from Astasia Villa takes you to the stunning Natien Beach. Normally very quiet and peaceful with calm shallow warm water, the bay livens up between November and March when Kite Boarding is very popular. The beach is white sand and very safe for children to play on.
Golf
There are 3 courses on the island, 2 nine hole venues, and Santaburi, a true championship course, and one of the most stunningly beautiful that one could ever imagine. Two Golf Driving Ranges are within a few minutes away by car or bike.
Special interest holidays
Koh Samui can provide almost any activity imaginable, many with a few minutes of the villa. For example, an Aquarium and Zoo, Butterfly Gardens and Rum Distillery are all close by, as is Fishing, Scuba Diving, Quad Bike Tours and Boat Trips. There are waterfalls to be explored and even Safari Tours of the mountainous interior. Kite Surfing, with tuition, takes place on Natien Beach between November and March.
Travel
Samui Airport, with flight from Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpar and Phuket, - to mention a few -, is 30 minutes from the villa. The main town and port of Nathon links Samui with the mainland by boat, a mere 20 minutes away. The sea crossing taken about one and a half hours.
Distances
The nearest village of Hua Thanon is very close by, with a fresh food market and restaurants. There are 3 restaurants within easy walking distance of the villa. The bustling town of Lamai which bosts a wide variety of entertainment is 7 or 8 minutes away by car, and Chaweng around 20 minutes away.
Booking notes
An initial deposit of 25% of the total villa rental charge, must be paid to secure the booking. The balance is payable at least 2 months prior to your arrival. A welcome pack is provided free on arrival and the price includes a twice weekly clean and change of linen and towels. A Chef, Daily Maid, Babysitter, Masseuse services etc, are available at extra charge.

About the owner
My wife and I live in South Africa - on the Garden Route - having retired there 5 years ago, after Roger having flown for 41 years as a Captain with BMI in England. However, our other favourite destination in the world is Thailand, especially Koh Samui.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Having visited Koh Samui regularly since 1984, we felt it time to invest in our own luxurious property. We looked at various parts of the island, but decided that the touristy area around Chewing and the north of the island were too commercialised and conjested for our taste. We threfore decided on a quiet location on the south eastern corner of this stunning island, - an island which can offer everything one can possibly need for a perfect holiday.
Whilst situated in a pieceful location the villa is less than 10 minutes away from the vibrant town of Lamai.
Unique benefits of the property
Privacy, especially around the pool, enclosed in a delightful colourful tropical garden all set amongst swaying coconut palms. Easy access - 50 metres to a gorgeous white sand beach. Spacious, but very homely accommodation, and of course wonderful inexpensive Thai food, which can be cooked by a Chef in the villa if required. There are however so many wonderful restaurants in the vacinity.
