Outside
Private infinity pool approx 50 x 12ft, Always warm due to tropical weather. Sun loungers and outdoor seating provided. Outside round dining dining table and chairs.
Coast/Beach
Kalamona Villa is approx 5 mins walk to the beach, or couple mins drive by car or scooter. The beach on Choeng Mon is one of the best and safest in the world, you will not get a better beach anywhere. The sea is always warm like bath temperature and very shallow and safe. Plenty of beach restaurants and chairs.
Golf
Santaburi golf club is one of Asia's finest and certainly most spectacular, only a few kilometers from the villa. Other smaller courses are available and more are being constructed on the island. Golf trips can be arranged with Samui Golf, an English run company.
Travel
The airport is approx 10 mins drive from the villa and as Koh Samui is a small island, there is only one airport. It takes approx 2 hours to drive all round the island. I would recommend a car to get about as Choeng Mon is approx 15 mins from main town Chawang where there is hundreds of restaurants shops and bars.
Distances
The villa is situated in the north east of the island, very small distance from all the places to visit. Big Budda is only few mins down the road and same goes with Tesco Big C and the airport. Plenty of places to visit like elephant trekking and safari.
Further details
Plenty of 7/11 shops and major supermarkets like Tesco/lotus and Big C are approx 15 mins drive away, they are large shopping complexes, or you can buy from the local markets. Car and 4wd and scooters can be hired in numerous outlets in Choeng Mon, rates are THB 700-1200 per day and scooters approx 200 THB.
Booking notes
Kalamona is managed by Horizon Horizon homes who will be in touch with you on your arrival and ensure that your holiday is the most memorable and trouble free. We require deposit of 30% of the rental and balance 45 days before arriving. We also require $500 deposit on arrival which is paid back at the end of your holidays subject to any damages. Remember a car will pick you up from airport and return you there at end of holiday.
