It’s just ten minutes from the island’s pretty airport where you will be met by our driver who will introduce you to the villa. Recently built in a small architecturally designed residential development, your 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom holiday home has been built around a large 15 metre sky-blue pool. High walls and a security system ensures total privacy while tall swaying palms and the vivid blue seas of the Gulf of Thailand paint the background. Our friendly staff are just a phone call away for any assistance, while our housekeepers will change your crisp white bed linen every other day. The location is quiet and peaceful but in easy reach of the island's many attractions.

Notes on prices
Prices are in UK Pounds and reflect an opening discount. Minimum stay 3 nights standard season/7 nights Peak season. Additional discounts to couples only. Monthly stays are negotiable. Rates are inclusive of taxes, airport pick up and drop off and the linen change and villa cleaning on alternate days.

| Bedrooms: | The master bedroom has a King size four poster Versace inspired bed plus exotic indoor/outdoor bathroom with dual vanity basins and a corner bath. The Frangipani Room and Lotus Room have queen beds and en-suite bathrooms. All bedrooms have Aircon & Fans. |
| Bathrooms: | All bathrooms are spacious with granite bench tops, dual rain head/hand held showers and are individually tiled and fitted out with large windows overlooking the garden. Each one has a hair dryer. There is also a guest bathroom off the living area |
| Kitchen: | The fully equipped kitchen has marble bench tops/bar and includes fridge/freezer, dish washing machine, 5 burner hob/cooker, rice cooker, some condiments & cooking supplies. A floor to ceiling glass window overlooks the tropical gardens to the rear. |
| Utility Room: | An automatic washing machine is provided together with iron and ironing board. There are clothes drying racks. |
| Living Rooms: | The villa's focal point is an open plan living area with a large extendable dining table and first class tableware; an extensive European style sofa and a wall mounted 45cm LCD screen with cable TV, DVD and sound system. CD's and books are also provided. |
| Other: | Bi fold glass doors open to the patios and pool area where there is an additional dining table and BBQ along with sun lounges and umbrellas. Separate lounge chairs and a large coffee table in the sala and adjoining terrace complete the furniture. |

All bath and pool towels are provided. Your crisp white linen is changed and rooms serviced twice weekly by our friendly staff. Additional cleaning/linen is available on request. The garden staff will attend to the garden and pool maintenance. |

Notes on accommodation
Samui Blu is a recently completed, architect designed property built to the highest standards by the islands leading European builders. It is perfect for a romantic holiday for two or a group of 4-7 guests who expect quality, comfort and privacy. Imported and local artifacts plus exquisite art and décor have been provided by the villa’s owners who enjoy its relaxing atmosphere for many months a year. The front gate opens on to the waterfall cascading from the infinity pool creating an ambiance that grows with each step into the property. All rooms are on one level and overlook the 15 metre swimming pool. A safety box has been provided to protect our guest's valuables. 24 hour complimentary Wi-Fi is available on request from our managers.
Outside
The tropical gardens and private infinity pool( skinnydippers love it) are overlooked by the house on one side and the Sala on the other. There is a BBQ and an abundance of outdoor furniture designed for relaxed outdoor living. The property is surrounded by palm trees and the nearby beach can be glimpsed through the palm trees. Dozens of small restaurants and bars line the beach offering tempting food and exotic cocktails while a massage in a shady corner of the beach is always tempting.
Coast/Beach
Samui Blu is only a few minutes pleasant walk to magical Choeng Mon beach, one of the finest and most picturesque on the island. You can walk through the internationally acclaimed Spa resort of Sala Samui to find yourself on this most desirable stretch of sand with its bars and restaurants.
It takes about 2 hours to drive around Samui and explore dozens of other diversified beaches.
Golf
Santaburi Golf club is one of Asia’s finest and certainly most spectacular. Other smaller courses are available and are currently being constructed and golf trips can be arranged with Samui Golf, an English run company. There is also a pitch and putt course and driving ranges.
Special interest holidays
Thai cooking courses are readily available. The island abounds in Spa establishments to suit all tastes. Fishing, sailing and deep sea diving trips are not far away.
Travel
Samui Blu is ten minutes drive from the award winning Samui international Airport and approx ten minutes to the main shopping area of Chewang. Car, 4WD and scooter hire are available at numerous outlets in Choeng Mon village. Rates are from THB700-1200 per day for cars and THB200 for scooters. Whilst your days could be happily spent in and around the villa, it is good to have a car for some of the time to explore the island.
Further details
Big C and Tesco Lotus, both large shopping complexes, are a short drive away, while 7/11’s are everywhere. The island abounds with boutiques, tailors and gift shops. We suggest visitors bring Travelers Cheques or cash as the exchange rate is better in Thailand. ATM’s/cash machines abound and money exchange/banks are in most villages.

About the owner
Based in the resort town of Byron Bay Australia, we have been involved in tourism and holiday rental properties for many years plus owned and operated a five start B&B during this time. Based on our own extensive travels and our experience in the business, we know what guests expect while on holiday. Fay has built a reputation for unique style in refurbishing and decorating quality homes both for personal use and for rentals. We designed, rebuilt, decorated and furnished Chez Byron as a joint fun project and as our primary home in Australia. It will be rented out for so many months and we looked for that WOW factor in both the building and the interior design. Ian is a travel journalist and author so the peaceful surrounds are a perfect environment for his work when we are in residence.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Several years ago we rented a holiday house on Koh Samui and experienced the magic feel that travellers look for when they want to get away from the world and enjoy total relaxation in a friendly uncomplicated environment. It is a place of incredibly friendly people, where time is of no essence and where the choice of one to five star life-styles ideally merge together in harmony. It did not take us long to start looking for places to buy and we soon found our plot in an ideal location - quiet, but within walking distance to one of the best beaches on the island and close to all activities. We also found that good quality European Builders were available, resulting in an interesting project and the beautiful little piece of paradise called 'Samui Blu'.
