Haus Martigny is a recently built apartment and enjoys an elevated and extremely sunny location in Petite Village. It has a stunning uninterrupted view of the village and the Matterhorn. In winter it is possible to ski almost up to the front of the house. Its three bedrooms (One double, to twin) sleeps six in understated elegance. Two designer bathrooms with rain showers, two contemporary sofas, a romantic glass wood burning fireplace, flat screen TV, DVD and wireless broadband, iPod docking station. It also has a well equipped kitchen and spacious dining facilities seating 8. Access is via a private funicular elevator from the road alongside the river.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment has underfloor heating and a wood burning stove. It is highly suitable for children with cot and stokke high chair available.
Accessibility
The apartment is in an elevated location and access is via a private funicular lift that runs from the road, alongside the river.
Outside
A private outside garden with patio and barbecue is available. There are also two large balconies.

A lovely 9 hole golf course is situated less than 10km away
Skiing
Zermatt is a wonderful resort for all kinds of mountain sports such as skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking and is also wonderful for those who enjoy excellent food! It is only a short walk to the nearest ski lifts (Sunnegga and Gornergrat). A free bus (with lift pass) is also available going to the Schwartzee lifts. It is possible to ski all year round in Zermatt with some of the highest runs in Europe. In winter it is possible to ski almost to the front door.
Travel
Zurich or Geneva airports. Zurich is approx 3 hours by train, Geneva approx 3 hours 15mins.
Distances
It is only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Zermatt village and 700 meters to the Sunnegga express. The Gornergrat railway is also close by. The children's nursery Kinderparadis is a 5 minute walk.
Further details
Close to all shops and amenities. Zermatt is a super place to spend a holiday in summer or winter, especially as there is year round skiing, mountain bike trails, winter and summer hiking trails and some of the best restaurants in the Alps

Balance payable eight weeks in advance of arrival date.
Money to be paid by bank transfer.

We are greatly enjoyed our week at Haus Martigny which, in the flesh, exceeds the already high expectations set by the 'brochure'. We were transfixed by the view of the Matterhorn!
