Apartment 4, Armorial II is a split level apartment offering stunning views of the Dents du Midi from 2 south facing balconies (1 off the bedroom/1 off the lounge). The apartment is 1 of 6 in this charming Swiss Chalet, close to ski slope for access to Villars own extensive ski area but is also connected by frequent rail and bus links to Diablerets (Glacier 3000). The charming resort of Villars has shops and restaurants with more in nearby Barboleuse and Chesiere. It is only 20 minutes drive to Lake Geneva to reach Montreux, Lausanne and Evian. Villars forms part of the excellent wine-growing region enjoying all day sunshine. Great location for ski access during the winter months and for walking, mountain biking and even para-gliding amongst stunning scenery from spring through to autumn.

Notes on prices
Please contact the owner to discuss prices as the above can be negotiated depending on the length of stay etc. The prices quoted are for 2 people, please add an additional £50 per week for 3 or 4 people. Payment can be made in GBP, CHFF or Euros. Prices include heating, all bedding, towels and final cleaning. Excludes Taxe de Sejour.
Changeover day
Saturday to Saturday preferred during peak season, however we are very flexible with the changeover day especially if it is a late booking.

| Other: | Ski-boot room also on lower ground floor to house all skiing equipment. Exit and entrance to the Chalet can be made through the garage on the lower ground floor allowing easy access during your skiing/walking holiday. |

Notes on accommodation
Central heating and open log fire. As the apartment is a 'duplex' there is a short flight of stairs leading down from the lounge/dining room to the bathroom and bedroom.
Outside
Large balcony from the lounge equipped with table and 4 chairs with parasol. Large balcony from the bedroom also equipped with table and 2 chairs.
Golf
Golf is available at Bretaye with wonderful views all round - accessible either by road (10 mins) or via the train which runs from Villars.
Skiing
The ski area centres around Bretaye (1800m) accessed by train or telecabine which are both within walking/skiing distance of the apartment. There are excellent Ski Schools and the area is highly recommended for all levels of experience. The link with Les Diablerets gives easy access to over 120km of pistes including the glacier at 3,000m allowing year round skiing. With the General Ski Pass, this can be further extended to cover the Super-Gstaad region with over 550kms of pistes.
Travel
Geneva airport is aproximately 1 hour 20 minutes drive from Villars. British Airways, Easyjet, Flybe and BMI offer flights at very competitive rates.
There is an excellent train service from Geneva to Villars-sur-Ollons via Bex or the post bus from Aigle.
The drive from Calais to Villars is approximately 500 miles.
We recommend a car during your stay in Villars to gain maximum benefit of all the attractions in the area.
Or drive from Calais in approximately 7-8 hours.
Distances
The Swiss Alps Region;
Villars-sur-Ollons is a 20 minutes drive to Lake Geneva. Villenueve and Montreux are the nearest towns on the Lake with Chateau de Chillon an excellent attraction within 30 minutes drive.
Villars Resort/Domaine de la Residance area:-
Closer to Villars are towns of Ollon - which offers Jazz and wine festivals in June and September.
