Our beautiful, spacious chalet with stunning views and easy access all year round, located in the mountainous area of Haute-Nendaz. The chalet situated on 2 floors with under floor heating which provides warm comfortable atmosphere. There are 4 spacious bedrooms with access to terrace, large bathroom, understairs room for suitcases and large hall area with football table on the ground floor. The first floor has a mezzanine second bathroom, marble top kitchen, dining area, large open-plan living area with stone fire place leading out onto wrap-round balcony. There is parking by chalet enough for 3 cars and outside room for ski/snowboard storage. There are heated ski lockers available at the telecabine for a small fee (recommended). A friendly local bar/restaurant within a short walking distance. The telecabine/town centre is 5 mins drive. The chalet is on bus route (regular bus service). Access to 400km of piste in Winter and mountain biking/walking in summer.

Notes on prices
Prices are per week in Swiss Francs. Prices include after rental clean, bedlinen (beds are made up), towels, tea towels, electricity, heating, water, local agent liaison, key handover. Discount on 2 weeks or more.
Changeover day
Depending on booking. Key collection available from 4pm, key return before 10am.

Notes on accommodation
The chalet is strictly non-smoking and no pets allowed. The fire place can be used but not necessary as the underfloor heating is adequate. If used must be cleaned after each use or cleaning fee will apply. (Logs are not supplied). It is the client responsibility to keep the chalet in reasonable condition.
Final cleaning included in rental price is a general clean of all areas and does not include special cleaning ie cleaning of cutlery, crockery, kitchen utensils, oven and hob; removing of deep ground dirt, grime or stains and will be charged to your deposit. Any damage to property will be charged. Skis and snowboards are not allowed inside of the chalet. Ski store room provided under outside stairs. Ski/snowboard boots, outside shoes to be confined to the entrance areas. Hooks are provided in the downstairs enterance area for ski gear. A deposit of CHF600 will be taken by the key holder and returned after final inspection.
Accessibility
The chalet is situated with easy access from the main road via a private road cleared of snow in the Winter. First floor entrance on the rear of the chalet with easy access from parking spaces. Ground floor entrance also accessible via external stairs.
Outside
Private parking area on the rear of the chalet. Stairway leading to large flat terrace with a view of the Rhone Valley followed by sloping gardens. Outdoor furniture provided in the summer. Very large balcony suitable for outdoor eating/evening drinks in the Summer.
Coast/Beach
Outdoor swimming pool located in Nendaz(local). Thermal baths located at Lavey, Ovronnaz, and Saillon-les-Bains. 100km to Lake Geneva for lake side beach and swimming.
Golf
Golf courses at Verbier and Villars, Grans Montana, Thyon 2000 and Sion.
Skiing
The telecabine is approximately 5 mins by car (plenty parking available) or the bus stop is approx 100m away with a regular bus service. Nendaz is part of a super collection of Swiss ski resorts known as the 4 Valleys, with over 400km of piste. The ski pass includes Nendaz, Veysonnaz, Verbier, Thyon 2000, Siviez, and La Tzoumaz. The ski pass system is full of variety, allowing skiers to tailor make a pass to best suit their ability. There are heated ski lockers available for a small fee for those who prefer not to carry their ski gear and walk in their ski boots to and from the lifts (recommended). For beginners, Nendaz offers gentle areas well out of harms way, plenty of good middle ground for intermediates and for experts the place is a veritable paradise. For the keen skier it is possible to ski in the summer on Mont Fort!
Travel
Nendaz is approx 2 hrs from Geneva Airport by car following the signs for Lausanne, then Grand St Bernard and then Sion. From Sion, follow the signs for Nendaz up the mountain road for approx 20 mins until you reach Sornard. Alternately you can catch the train. The station is located about 200m from the arrivals hall at Geneva airport, the train runs approx every 30 mins to Sion. When you reach Sion, the bus station is right outside with a regular bus service to Nendaz.

Nendaz has many bars and restaurants from pizza to La Carte, and many ski shops for sales rental and service. 2 supermarkets, boulangeries, boucherie, boutiques, and a pharmacy. 2 banks, a hairdressers, gym, tennis courts, ice skating rink, and outdoor swimming pool. Paragliding, mountain biking, mountain walks, fishing.

My Wife and I visited Nendaz back in 2004, we loved being in the mountains and decided that this was the place for us to build our home from home.
With Ski and Snowboarding in the winter,mountain walks in the summer, we love its location.
