The extensive Villars/Les Diablerets/Glacier 3000 ski area can be accessed directly via a blue run from this charming traditional style chalet with its stunning mountain views in a peaceful location. In summer take the mountain walks and cycling trails direct from the chalet. Enjoy the sun and mountain air and admire the mountain views from the chalet's terrace and wrap around balcony overlooking its meadow garden. The property is a three storey, detached traditional style chalet. The master bedroom is located on the top floor. The first floor is the living area with French doors leading directly onto the balcony. The living room has a wood burning stove. The ground floor consists of 3 bedrooms with a large bath/shower room. The house is fully equipped for holiday guests. Included are a number of toys/games for children and a collection of books and DVDs. On one side of the property is a forest with a stream running through it. The meadow garden is full of flowers in the summer.

Coast/Beach
In summer Lake Geneva offers a host of activities including sailing, swimming, lakeside walks or visit the many restaurants and cafes of the beautiful lakeside towns such as Montreux and Lausanne.
Golf
A championship course in beautiful mountainous countryside and voted one of the most admired golf locations in Europe. The clubhouse offers gourmet cuisine and a panoramic terrace. The club is open from mid-May to October and can be accessed by the funicular railway from Villars station (15 mins) or by road (10 mins).
Skiing
The extensive skiing of Villars/Les Diablerets/Glacier 3000 covers over 220km. The ski passes also include the ski areas of Leysin and Les Mosses. There are ski /snow boarding schools in Villars and Gryon with English speaking instructors. Group or individual ski lessons are available. In addition guides may be hired for ski touring. There are extensive trails for cross country skiing and snow walking and there are toboggan runs and sleigh rides for the children. Other ski resorts such as Verbier, the Portes du Soleil or the Gstaad Valley are easy day trips. Ski passes for children under the age of 9 are free.
Travel
The closest international airport is Geneva Airport (110km). There are a number of airlines which fly to Geneva including British Airways, Swissair, Easyjet and Air France. Othe close airports are Bern and Zurich. From Geneva airport there is a regular train service to Villars via Bex. Car hire is also available at Geneva Airport. The drive takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Villars is a true dual season resort. It is situated above the extensive vineyards of the Rhone Valley. A busy town with many excellent restaurants, hotels and shops. It is a family friendly resort which attracts guests from all over the globe as well as the local population.
In summer there are numerous mountain biking and hiking trails. Indulge in the authentic mountain cuisine in the many restaurants on the trails. Play tennis at the local club or swim in the mountain lakes. The well renowned Villars Golf Club is only a short drive away. Walk through the historic village of Gryon. Visit the salt mines in Bex deep under the mountains or view the Roman remains in Martigny. Spend a day at the thermal baths of Bains de Lavey. Children will love Parc Aventure and the Alpine Coaster - the world's highest bob sleigh - on Glacier 3000. The free access card allows visitors free use of many of the local activities such as the sports centre, tennis club, ice rink, golf range, mountain transport, BVB train and local buses.
Throughout the year there are cultural festivals such as the world famous Montreux Jazz Festival, Swiss Day celebrations and historical monuments such as Chateau de Crillon.
