Traditionally built chalet with classic Swiss design. 3 x double bedrooms 1x twin bedroom 1 x bunk bedroom Each room has plenty of storage and space. There are 3 large bathrooms with baths and walk in showers. Large lounge with open fire place and access to large sunny terrace. There is also a flat screen TV, with access to Sky TV, and a music system into which you can plug your own MP3 player or CD’s. The chalets have wireless broadband (with free secure access to guests who have their own laptop). The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you could need if taking the self catered option. The dining area has a large wooden table with enough space for 10 people. Quality linen and towels come as standard. |

Notes on accommodation
Accommodation and catering options. The chalets are fully serviced, and our chalet team are around for advice or help as usual. Both chalets can be rented together or separately, and both are available with 2 different levels of service:
Option 1 Serviced chalets. If you want to arrange your own catering but would like some basic service then this may be the option for you. In addition to your welcome hamper, we will clean your chalet on a daily basis (6 days) and bake a cake for when you return from a days skiing. There will also be a mid week changeover of towels.
Option 3 Catered chalet. With this option we will provide Breakfast, afternoon tea and an evening dinner for 6 days.

Skiing
La Tzoumaz is part of the ‘4 Valleys’ ski area, which consists of various ski resorts, including Verbier, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, La Tzoumaz, and Thyon. La Tzoumaz has a brand new lift (the biggest and fastest in the 4 Valleys), linking it directly to Verbier and the rest of the 4 Valleys. The ski area has some of the best skiing in Europe and is suitable for all levels. La Tzoumaz itself is situated on North-facing slopes and hence enjoys a longer ski-season, lasting from early December all the way through to late-April. It is a resort popular with families, having a small ski lift for children, a natural ice rink, a heated swimming pool and the longest floodlit sledge run in Western Switzerland (10km). In spring, summer and autumn there are plenty of activities including walking, climbing, mountain biking, rafting, and golf courses in nearby Verbier and Sion.
Travel
The chalets are less than 2 hours drive from Geneva Airport, and only 20 minutes drive from Sion or Martigny. It is possible to get a train to nearby Sion direct from the airport (2 hours).

Further details
Après ski - La Tzoumaz itself is relatively quiet compared to Verbier, but has several good restaurants and bars, and a nightclub which is open in the high season. The main village centre is only 5 mins walk from the chalets. There is also a swimming pool, ice skating and a 10km toboggan run. Another great activity after skiing is to visit the nearby thermal baths in Saillon (about 15 mins drive). Sion itself is also worth a visit, it has some great restaurants and bars and a medieval châteaux and castle.
