This ground floor apartment has stunning views directly up to the Eiger, Jungfrau and Monch mountains and is situated next to the blue run down to the village of Wengen, providing genuine ski in ski out accommodation. the views may be enjoyed to the full from the comfortable living dining area, the main bedroom and from the huge South facing balcony. It is an easy three minute ski to the main lift in Wengen and an easy 6 minute downhill walk into the village, where there are multiple shops, a supermarket, several bars and restaurants. the village of Wengen is safe and virtually traffic free, only being accessible by mountain railway. The property benefits from a heated ski and boot room and in the basement of the chalet a steam room and massage centre (local charge). This is one of very few ski in ski out apartments in Wengen.

Changeover day
Changeover is preferred on a Saturday, but this is flexible. Arrival time is 3:00pm and departure by 10:00am please.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with double bed and built in wardrobes. Direct access to the balcony, underfloor heating.
Bedroom 2 with a bed that converts into either 2 singles, 1 double or 1 single as desired and built in wardrobes, under floor heating.
Bathrooms: Main bathroom with bath and shower, heated towel rail and under floor heating.
Kitchen: Fully fitted kitchen with oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer and fondue, and raclette.
Utility Room: The heated boot and ski room is directly downstairs.
Living Rooms: Open plan dining lounge with double sofa bed, two additional chairs and flat screen TV with DVD, Ipod dock, beautiful wood floors and underfloor heating. Direct access onto the South facing balcony.
Other: For the children we have a high chair, bed guards and cot. There is also a paddling pool for the summer in the store room.
There is outside garden furniture on the balcony.

Towels and linen are included and changed weekly.

This is ideal family accommodation in the beautiful and peaceful village of Wengen. A taxi service is available from the train staion on arrival if required.

The large balcony is ideal for al fresco dining, with heat lamps provided for use in the winter.

There are many golf courses in the region.

Skiing
The skiing in Wengen is fabulous and comprises three areas totalling 213km of pistes. Wengen hosts the famous Lauberhorn race each January.

Travel
The nearest airport is Berne (approx 45 min by car), however, the more economical choice is Basel (Easyjet), approx 90 mins away, but also with direct connections by train on the amazing Swiss rail system. The resort is also accessible from Zurich, which has good train connections, or Geneva. When travelling by car, park at Lauterbrunnen and take the mountain railway to Wengen.

Distances
Interlaken is the nearest major town approximately 20Km away. Here it is possible to take cruises on the lakes throughout the summer.

Further details
Wengen is a 4 season resort, with excellent summer walking, herb walks, climbing, rafting etc. The Glacier is open all year round and accessed by the mountain railway with the highest station in Europe (Jungfrautoch).

Booking notes
A 30% deposit is required to secure the booking. Full payment should normally be received 2 weeks prior to departure, though by arrangement it is possible to pay at the Brunner Hotel next door to the apartment.
