The large open plan living/dining room features a stunning open stone fireplace and has the most spectacular views over the Rhone Valley. The chalet is fitted with a luxury kitchen. The breathtaking views can be appreciated from the large wrap around balcony and terrace, great for al fresco dining and barbecues in the summer. There is also a west facing sunny garden. The chalet is situated 8 mins walk to the main shops on the high street and 3 mins by car to ski lift.

Outside
There is a large wrap around balcony and extended terrace with spectacular views and sunsets perfect for al fresco dining and BBQs or an après ski drink.
There is a grassed large garden to the west side and front of the chalet.
Coast/Beach
Whilst Switzerland is of course land-locked, it does have a plethora of beautiful lakes within half an hour’s drive. The perfect location for a summer picnic or a refreshing swim. St Leonard boasts the largest underground lake in Europe.
Golf
Valais is a natural paradise full of contrasts that has become a favourite destination for golfers from all over the world. It offers four 18-hole courses at Verbier, Sion, Crans-Montana and Loeche as well as five 9-hole course at Sierre, Crans-Montana, Riederalp, Matterhorn and Source du Rhône. There is also "Swin Golf" available at Nax.
Skiing
Veysonnaz forms part of the Four Valleys ski region incorporating Verbier, Nendaz, Thyon and Les Collons with a total of 100 runs covering 400km. The most famous run Piste de L’Ours is a frequent location for the Alpine Ski World Cup. 100 ski lifts get you to the top of the runs with ease, whilst the use of snow cannons ensure the runs will be in great condition for you when you get there. It is possible to ski to Verbier in less than an hour, taking in the spectacular glacier at Mont Fort. For those interested in alternative snow pursuits Thyon boasts the best snow park in the 4 Valleys for freestyle skiing and snowboarding.
Winter also provides a great number of other activities, which are enjoyable for the whole family. For example: giant slalom, cross country skiing, torchlit descents at night, swiss snow league for every child group, ski safaris, snowshoe walks, paragliding, indoor swimming pool and leisure centre, sled dogs tours, skiing on Mont Fort Glacier.
Special interest holidays
Summer in the Alps is fantastic for anyone who enjoys walking or cycling offering you the chance to make your own way around the 300km of paths and trails often along the famous “bisses”. For the younger holidaymaker there is plenty to do as well. Various activities are organised throughout the summer for children aged 4 and over and the Sun and Fun club. For the 4-8 year olds the focus is on theme days and activities such as donkey riding. For the older children and for adults more active pursuits such as archery, mountain bike tours, tennis, football and archery are all available.
Other summer activities include: climbing, mountain biking (70km of track), horse riding, wall climbing, rollerblading and wine tasting. Sion is surrounded by vineyards and the area is one of the main wine producing areas in Switzerland.
Travel
There are excellent travel links to Veysonnaz. Flights to Geneva, followed by a car journey of approx 1 hr 40. Train from Geneva airport to Sion 1 hr 40.
Flights to Sion are available during the winter season from Heathrow and Gatwick on a Saturday to Saturday basis.
Veysonnaz is a 15 minute taxi ride/drive from Sion
Flights to Milan. Train from Milan to Sion is approx 2 hours and 3.5 hours by car.
Use of car recommended to gain full benefit of the region.
Distances
Sion, Switzerland’s oldest town is only 10km away. It is an attractive town with a lively atmosphere with a good choice of bars and restaurants. It boasts 2 chateaux, the ancient priory of Sion, a fort and many museums and art galleries, there is no shortage of things to do and see. There is plenty to satisfy those in need of retail therapy as well as a theatre, cinema and swimming pool. Saillon with its thermal baths is just 30 mins away.

Veysonnaz is an unspoilt family village situated on the mountainside at 1400m. With unbeatable breathtaking views of the Rhone Valley it is the perfect location for a winter or summer Alpine holiday. It is well provided for with a supermarket, boulangerie, butcher, charcuterie, a number of bars and restaurants, a nightclub and a number of ski shops. The Wellness Centre provides a swimming pool, sauna, solarium, jacuzzi and massage. It is a safe environment for children with very little traffic.
Other places of interest nearby include Martigny with the world famous art gallery Foundation Pierre Gianadda. The world's highest gravity dam at Grande Dixience.

Prices per chalet per week. A refundable deposit of SFR 200 is payable on arrival to management company. 50% payable of confirmation of booking, remaining 50% payable 8 weeks prior to arrival. Payable by cash or cheque. Obligatory extra charges: tourist taxes of SFR2 per person per night payable on arrival.
