The new apartment (2007) Trembles, in Anzère, is a 4 star, 2 bedroom self catering apartment, located on the first floor of a traditional Swiss chalet with breathtaking views across the Rhone Valley from the south facing balcony. Opposite ski bus stop. Anzère (altitude 1500m), at 2 hours from Geneva airport, has 40km of ski runs, up to an altitude of 2500m, with an excellent average annual snowfall of 8m each season. Crans-Montana and the '4 Valley' are nearby, accessed by car or public transport. Thermal baths are 30 minutes away. In summer, there are many activities which include, walking, mountain biking, trekking, paragliding, rock climbing, tennis.

Changeover day
Saturday to Saturday bookings. Arrival after 4pm and departure by 10am.

Golf
Finest Golf in Crans-Montana (18 hole "Severiano Ballesteros"): At 19km from Anzère and 1500m of altitude, Crans-Montana is a paradise for golfers with fantastic surroundings. Since 1939, Crans-Montana has been running the European Masters, which is the most prestigious golf tournament in Europe after the British Open.
Golf courses of Sion and Sierre: At 14km from Anzère and 450m of altitude, the 18 hole course of Sion, designed by HARRADINE, benefits from over 300 days of sunshine due to its microclimate. 9 hole golf course of Sierre at 20km miles from Anzère and 500m of altitude.
Skiing
Anzère has 40km of runs served by 11 ski lifts, to an altitude of 2500m. Most of the runs are ideal for intermediates skiers. There are good off-piste opportunities and heli-skiing, with substantial vertical drops, on the Wildhorn Glacier (3,247m). This ski area receives more than average snow each season, with an excellent average annual snowfall of 8m. The gondola is 15 minutes' walk or 6 minutes by the free shuttle bus which stops in front of the chalet (50m). Reasonably priced lift pass. English speaking ski school. 4 mountain restaurants.
Nearby Crans-Montana, with 160km of slopes up to an altitude of 3000m, is only 19km away (hourly bus available) and the “4 Vallées" (Verbier), at only 24km, with the immense 400km of slopes to an altitude of 3300m, are easily accessed by car or public transport via Sion, to Nendaz or Veysonnaz.
Special interest holidays
In winter, as well as skiing, Anzère also offers 40km of winter walking trails, 3.5km of sledging runs, 5km of cross-country skiing, ice skating, snow shoe and indoor swimming pool. In summer, there are many activities which include, walking, mountain biking, trekking, paragliding, rock climbing, tennis or just relaxing by the village pool with stunning mountain views. Nearby, the historic town of Sion, thermal baths, golf, fishing, wine tasting and summer skiing in the Plaine-Morte glacier of Crans-Montana.
Travel
Sion airport is 20 minutes away with direct flights from London during the skiing season (Swiss Air). Geneva airport (Easyjet, Flybe, BA) is approx. 2 hours from Sion, by train or car, with a short connection by bus from the train station to the bus stop in Anzere. Driving from Calais will take approx. 9 hours.
Distances
Historic Sion (15km) has 2 chateaux, cathedral and many museums.
Thermal baths are 30 minutes away: At 35km, Les bains de Saillon, at 41km, Ovronnaz, and at 53km, Leukerbad, the largest thermal spa resort in the Alps.
Nearby Crans-Montana, with 160km of slopes, exclusive golf and shopping, is only 20 minutes away (19km, hourly bus). The immense 400km of slopes in the “4 Vallées" (Verbier) are easily accessed by car or public transport (1 hour). Saas Fee and Zermatt are within 2 hours.
Further details
Anzere is well catered for in terms of shops, supermarkets, tourist information, ski school, bars, restaurants, night clubs, bank and doctor, all available in the village square at 10min walk (900m). Village outdoor heated pool. There is and excellent public transport infrastructure via Sion.
Booking notes
A reservation is confirmed once a non refundable deposit of 350 euros is received, or the full price of the holiday, if the booking is for less than 6 weeks time. Final payment 6 weeks prior to arrival. Failure to comply results in lost booking and loss of deposit.
