Chalet Christy is a traditional wooden chalet built over 2 floors, being one of the original buildings in Haute Nendaz, it enjoys an enviable position, 50m from the main lift station, whilst only a 5 mins walk to the town with its many bars, shops and restaurants. Chalet Christy, accommodates 16 people, in 8 bedrooms with 6 bathrooms, there is a large lounge with plasma TV, DVD, satellite, wifi, large leather sofas and quality furnishings. Chalet Christy offers catered holidays, but also B&B and self-catering during the summer, short breaks are also available during low season, and in the summer. Outside there is a large Jacuzzi hot tub, barbecue, and garden furniture. There is external car parking for 4 cars, plus underground parking for 3 cars (small supplement payable locally).

Prices for catered weeks include tourist taxes, linen/towels and daily cleaning.
S/C weeks based on 12 people in 6 bedrooms,additional bunk beds £100pppw, £15 per set bedlinen/towels,final cleaning £200, plus a refundable security deposit of £500. Plus charge of £100 pw for Hot Tub, if required.

Changeover day
Saturday for catered weeks, short breaks and B&B by arrangement.

Large kitchen available when booked on self-catered basis during the summer months, range cooker-6 burners/double oven, 2nd cooker-4 burners/single oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer.

 

Notes on accommodation
Chalet Christy has been set up to provide luxury living during your stay, no expensive has been spared on soft furnishings and furniture. The main living area has underfloor heating for added comfort. There are a range of DVDs, books and games for relaxation.
The location of Chalet Christy is perfect for winter and summer activities, being only 50m from the main telecabine and bus stop, and just a 5 mins walk to the resort centre.

Outside
Hot tub/Jacuzzi on sunny terrace, with large gas barbecue, garden tables and chairs.
Views up to the ski slopes and mountains.

Coast/Beach
Lake Geneva, 45 mins by car, has numerous watersports as well as sailing and an assortment of beaches for swimming and relaxation.

Golf
There are 5 golf courses in the valley, the closest being Sion, 25 mins and the most famous at Crans Montana approx 1 hour away.

Skiing
Chalet Christy is located at the foot of the main ski run in Haute Nendaz, itself linked to the famous 4 Vallees, Verbier/Mont Fort ski area, with over 400km of pistes and numerous off-piste opportunities. Instructors and guides can be arrange to get the best out of this area.

Special interest holidays
During the summer, we will be running mountain bike courses, with OTC trained mountain bike guides, as well as tailor made activity holidays which include, numerous sports such as, white water rafting, canyoning, hydroslide, parapenting, climbing, hiking and MTB.
Golf packages can be organised, in fact if we have missed anything, just let us know and we can arrange it!
In the valley, there are numerous spa/wellness centres ready to pamper your every whim.

Travel
Nendaz is easily accessible, being 160km drive from Geneva, but also serviced by regular train/bus connections. Transfer tickets can be arranged from Geneva airport at a cost of £74, with children under 16, travelling free, with parents.
Driving distance from Calais, is approx 8/9 hours. Sion airport, 30 mins.

About the owner
After spending over 20 years in the hospitality industry in the UK, we decided to relocate full time to Nendaz in Switzerland. We now run a catered chalet, with myself and Steve, looking after our clients, and hope they have a wonderful time in a great resort, in Winter or Summer. Steve, also works as a ski instructor, and can teach from beginner through to advanced skiers.

Why the owner chose a guest house in this location
We purchased Chalet Christy in November 2006, having realised the potential to run the chalet on a catered basis, due to its close proximity to the ski lifts and resort centre.
