Chalet Christy, a luxury chalet built over 2 floors, being one of the original buildings in Haute Nendaz, it enjoys an enviable position, 50m from the main lift station, whilst only a few mins walk to the town with its many shops and restaurants. Central location, though not noisy.
Chalet Christy, accommodates 16/18 people, with 8 bedrooms with 6 shower rooms, a spacious lounge with plasma TV, DVD, satellite/cable, UK and foreign channels, wi-fi, large leather sofas and quality furnishings. Oak dining table and leather chairs seats 16. Ski room with boot warmers.
Chalet Christy offers catered, B/B, self catered holidays throughout the year. Outside there is a large Jacuzzi hot tub, barbecue, and garden furniture. External car parking for 4 cars, plus underground parking for 3 cars (small supplement payable locally).

Changeover day
Saturday for catered weeks, short breaks and B&B by arrangement.
Self catered, minimum duration 4 nights, changeover days to suit.
Notes on accommodation
The spacious living area has underfloor heating for added comfort. There are a range of DVDs, books and games for relaxation.
During the winter months can be booked on a catered basis or B&B, so guests do not have access to the kitchen.
NEW, can be booked on a self catered basis, throughout the year, a fully equipped kitchen is available, with catering size fridge, freezer, seperate fridge, oven and hob, range cooker with 2 ovens, dishwasher, microwave, laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Outside
Hot tub/Jacuzzi on sunny terrace, with gas barbecue, garden tables and chairs. Parking for 4 cars, plus underground parking at additional cost, payable locally. Views up to the ski slopes and mountains.
Coast/Beach
Lake Geneva, 45 mins by car, has numerous watersports as well as sailing and an assortment of beaches for swimming and relaxation.
Golf
There are 5 golf courses in the valley, the closest being Sion, 25 mins and the most famous at Crans Montana approx 1 hour away.
Skiing
Chalet Christy is located at the foot of the main ski run in Haute Nendaz, itself linked to the famous 4 Vallees, Verbier/Mont Fort ski area, with over 400km of pistes and numerous off-piste opportunities. Instructors and guides can be arrange to get the best out of this area.
Numerous trails for snowshoeing and cross country skiing.
3km toboggan run at Siviez. Short sledging run close to ice rink.
Special interest holidays
During the summer, we run mountain bike courses, with OTC trained mountain bike guides, as well as tailor made activity holidays which include, numerous sports such as, white water rafting, canyoning, hydroslide, parapenting, climbing, hiking and MTB.
Golf packages can be organised, in fact if we have missed anything, just let us know and we can arrange it!
In the valley, there are numerous spa/wellness centres ready to pamper your every whim.
Travel
Nendaz is easily accessible, being 160km drive from Geneva, but also serviced by regular train/bus connections. Transfer tickets can be arranged from Geneva airport at a cost of approx £76, with children under 16, travelling free, with parents. Driving distance from Calais, is approx 8/9 hours. Sion airport, 30 mins.

Lake Geneva/Montreux 45mins by car. 1hr by train. Chamonix 1hr by car. Zermatt 1hr 30mins, by car/train. Interlaken 2hrs by car. Italian Lakes 2 hrs by car.
Further details
There are a number of supermarkets, banks, post office, Doctors, Dentist, Chemist all located within the resort. During the summer, tennis, outdoor swimming pool, bikes rides, MTB trails, hiking, are some of the outdoor activities available within Nendaz.

About the owner
Having more than 20 years experience in the hospitality industry in the UK, we decided to relocate full time to Nendaz, after having a holiday chalet in the resort since 1999.
In 2006, we purchased Chalet Christy, to be ran as a catered chalet/B&B. Registered Swiss company.
Steve, also works as a ski instructor, and can teach from beginner through to advanced skiers.
We live in the resort year round, on hand to provide assistance to our guests during the summer months too.
We have completed our 2nd chalet, 5* Chalet
Grand Loup, ran on a B&B basis throughout the year.

Why the owner chose a guest house in this location
We purchased Chalet Christy in November 2006, having realised the potential to run the chalet on a catered basis, due to its close proximity to the ski lifts and resort centre.
Unique benefits of the property
Great location, especially during the winter, ease of access to ski lifts and particularly the resort centre, especially if members of your party do not ski.
Once in the resort. it is not necessary to rely on a car.
