Lovely apartment with dual views facing south and west. Just over 80 minutes drive from Geneva airport but with access by train or bus as well. Wonderful views of the Alps from a large terrace, yet only 5 minutes walk to the centre of Villars for the station, shopping, ski slopes and apres ski. Indoor swimming pool with sauna and tennis court on site, underground garage parking. There are many bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk.

Notes on prices
Prices shown are for the property per week in UK Pounds, bookings do not include visitors tax. There are discounts for short breaks and last minute bookings especially for off peak times, please call or e mail us for details. Please note that there is a compulsory £50 charge for cleaning at the end of each let, this should be included in the balance of the rental cheque. There is no charge for linen.
Changeover day
Saturday - Saturday is the normal changeover but we can be very flexible especially with last minute bookings.

The property has level access from the front door but there is a lift to all floors including the garage, tennis court and pool (with sauna).

Accessibility
There is a lift from apartment to car park. The apartment is on the same floor as the front door so easy access for wheel chairs.
Outside
Outdoor patio furniture,comprising two wrought iron tables and six chairs, with umbrella are provided on the terrace. There is a shared swimming pool with sauna and tennis for use by guests within the small complex.
Golf
Villars has the highest golf course in Europe an 18-hole golf course located in a spectacular mountain location at 5300 ft (1600 m). The golf course which has an excellent restaurant is on a south-facing plateau where you can play a round of golf, sip champagne and some wonderful cuisine amid some of the most stunning views of the Alps and Mont-Blanc.
If you want to learn how to play, individual lessons or week-long group programmes for all levels can be arranged with PGA certified professionals. The club is open from mid-May to October and can be accessed by the funicular railway from Villars station (15 mins) or by road (10 minutes).
Skiing
The resort has been designated one of the top ten ski resorts by the Sunday Times. It is especially geared to families and beginners, but there are a number of red and black runs. The mountain train (6 minutes walk of the apartment) takes skiiers and sledgers up to the Col de Bretaye and there is also a Telecabine within 20 mins walk of the apartment which goes up to Roc D'Orsay- there is skiing on the glacier for much of the year. There is access to 215km of piste from Villars.
Travel
Geneva is the nearest airport which is approximately 1 hour 20 minutes drive by car. There is a frequent train service from Geneva to Villars via Bex, or you could opt for a bus from Bex as well which is slightly quicker.
Distances
The French border is about 20km and Chamonix is about an hours drive. The Italian Border is about a 40 mins drive and Interlaken and the Bernese Oberland is an easy day trip away. You can get to Venice in 5 hours, so there are many lovely places to visit and Villars provides a wonderful base to explore many European countries.
Further details
Local supermarkets, bakeries, the Tourist Information office, the Station and clothes shops in fact everything you will need for your holiday are all within an easy level 10 minute walk. Information on all the amenities can be found in the apartment.
