1 bedroom apartment in Haute Nendaz, a welcoming mountain resort open all year. Nendaz makes up part of the well known “Four Valleys” region, with over 400km of groomed ski slopes and an open-air ice-skating rink in the winter season and 250km of walking tracks for all levels in summer. In summer, there is no end to activities, including hiking, mountain biking, golfing, horse-riding etc. The apartment is close to shops, bars, restaurants, the open air pool (open in summer) and public transport.

Rental periods always run from Saturday to Saturday.
Arrival after 16.00 and departure before 10.00.

Outside
2 south-west facing balconies, 1 off the living area, the other off the bedroom, are available for use. Table and chairs set-up on the living room balcony for al fresco dining in summer, providing a wonderful view over the Swiss Alps across the valley. The apartment is situated 5 mins walk from the Tourist Office (shuttle bus stop in winter), the centre of town and is 15 minutes walk from the Tracouet cable-car. It is within very easy reach of shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, ski schools, banks, post office, swimming pool and bus stops. Parking is available at the apartment building.
Golf
The Valais region of Switzerland offers golf courses within an easy drive. The closest is situated at Crans-Montana, 18-holes. A European Masters tournament is hosted there each September. Sion offers an 18 hole course on the plain of the Rhone valley and is open almost year-round. Verbier has an 18 hole links, and Sierre and Cran-sur-Sierre have both 9-holes.
Skiing
Haute Nendaz makes up part of the “Four Valleys” region together with the resorts of Verbier, Thyon, Veysonnaz and Tzoumaz. The region offers over 400km of ski slopes and 92 different lifts. The highest point in the region is Mont-Fort at 3330m. From its peak, there are views of the Matterhorn, Grand Combin and Mont Blanc. All levels and ages are catered for from mid-November to mid-April, with summer skiing on the glacier at Mont-Fort.
Travel
Closest airport is Geneva International, which is approximately 2 hours away by car, or 2 hours by train Geneva to Sion, plus 25 minutes drive to Nendaz (bus/taxi). Some charter aircraft fly direct to and from Sion at certain times of the year. From France by train: TGV to Sion, plus 25 minutes drive by bus/taxi to Haute Nendaz.
Distances
Haute Nendaz lies in the centre of the canton of Valais in Switzerland. Sion which is only 25 minutes away, is an historic town and the capital city of Valais. There are full shopping facilities, a theatre, cinemas, castles and museums. Crans-Montana is a high-end shopper’s paradise with its exclusive boutiques and is 35km from Nendaz. Ovronnaz and Saillon boast renowned thermal baths and are also within 35km. Verbier can be reached by car in approximately 45 minutes.
Booking notes
30% non-refundable deposit due at time of booking, with the balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival. A refundable security deposit of CHF 500 is required and will be returned upon leaving the property in a satisfactory condition.
