Modern apartment, 85m2in trendy Villars which is 1.5 hours drive from Geneva airport, and 30 minutes by car to Montreux and attractive towns on lake Geneva. Good train service direct from Geneva airport to Aigle, then 20 minute bus/taxi service to Villars. All year round activities. 5 minutes walk to cog train stop, 3 minutes by car to Villars cable car, 10 minutes by car to Barbelouse cable car. Cable cars are open virtually all year to take advantage of some fantastic walks, or eat and drink at the top in good standard restaurants. Restaurants in Villars cater for most tastes, and are typical Swiss high standard. Good selection of shops, 2 supermarkets and specialty food shops.

Bedroom 1 has en-suite. Bedroom 2 has balcony and 2 chairs and table. All bedrooms have electric blinds.

Bathroom 2 (off lobby) Shower, single basin set in granite, and WC.
Kitchen: Dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven, grill, hob, microwave.
All granite work tops. Coffee machine, toaster and blender.
Utility Room: Heavy duty washing machine, plus a dryer in ground floor utility room.
Living Rooms: Lounge is off spacious lobby and is the width of the apartment with panoramic windows with entrance to terrace. 4 chairs and table on the terrace. Dining area can seat 6, lounge area seating for 4.Satellite & flatscreen TV, WIFI, DVD,CD
Other: The large lobby area accommodates a closet to hang coats etc. Plus cupboard for ironing board. Heating controls and video doorphone are in lobby.

Notes on accommodation
This is a no smoking apartment and no pets allowed. There is a ski room on the ground floor with your own ski locker.
On the ground floor toilets and showers are situated in the Gym and Sauna area. The Sauna is small and needs to be booked in advance, shedule reservation is situated on Sauna door. There are 2 large industrial washing machines and a drier to found on the ground floor.

Accessibility
The apartment is on the second floor with lift access. There is a ramp from the internal garage to the lobby and lifts. However the inside is not adapted for wheelchairs.

Outside
4 chairs and medium size table on the front terrace. 2 chairs and small table on bedroom 2 balcony.

Golf
Villars golf course is set high up on the hills with restaurant, also has driving range. Can be reached by cog train. Golf dependent on season/weather. Approx 30 minutes by train plus short walk.

Skiing
Cog train 5 mins walk from apartment to Bretaye. You can ski back to apartment. Villars cable car is 3 minutes by car to Roc D'orsay. Next Village cable car (Barbelouse) 10 mins by car. Baby and beginner's slope 10 mins walk from apartment. Ski rental shops are plentiful Villars. Go to tourist office in centre of village for ski lessons and more adventurous skiing and other outdoor activities. Le Diablerets nearby resort has link to glacier for skiing.

Travel
Geneva airport is 1.5 hours car drive to Villars. This is motorway most of the way, with approx 20 mins up the mountain. Trains run direct from the airport, stop at Aigle and take taxi or bus to Villars. Sion airport (mostly charter Winter season) is also about the same distance. By car from Calais approx 10 hours dependant on stops. Snow chains are required in case snow is deep.

Distances
30 mins drive to Montreux, and then there are may attractive towns and villages on Lake Geneva. Vevy (next to Montreux) is good with big Saturday open market, street art/theatre and culture. Local wine tasting and bands (Saturday morning). Steamer ships for lake trips. Good and varied shopping. On the hills below Villars at Ollon are many vineyards, and wineries’ with wine for sale. Also wine tasting at nearly every event. Villars small square opposite the station has frequent events.

Tourist office in Villars has all information on cycling, golf, horse riding, mountain biking, mountaineering, paragliding, swimming, tennis, walking and of course everything to do with skiing.

Booking notes
A rental deposit (cleared funds ) is required to confirm booking. Plus a security deposit of £350.00 is required with balance which is due 6 weeks prior to rental period. Security deposit is returned after stay if no damage/missing items, (our rental agreement has detail).
