This one-bedroom apartment has B and B amenities. This property sleeps a family of four or five, or two couples comfortably. The snow-covered Alps are in view from the balcony of Swiss-Comfort and the surrounding area is a favorite walking course known for its view of the Dents du Midi and and the Glacier du Trient. Swiss-Comfort is less than 5 minutes walking distance of the Leysin-Village train station; the first station of Leysin when coming into Leysin by cog train from Aigle; a central hub station for Switzerland and Europe. The whole of Leysin is easily viewed from popular walking courses of the village from Swiss-Comfort, and on a snowy winter's evening one can have the most memorable experience of the ambiance of a Swiss Winter Wonderland. Public transportation is accessible by two nearby bus stops that make hourly rounds of Leysin. The Free bus is available from early summer to winter's end and makes travel to and from the ski lifts and central Leysin almost painless.

Changeover day
Changeover days are flexible but should be negotiated if they fall before or after normal arrival and departure times. Normal arrival is at 14:00 and departure is at 10:00.

Seniors citizens love Swiss-Comfort for its ambiance and convenience and many have declared it their "home away from home". Several senior-couples have booked over a year in advance because the location is quiet but within walking distance to the best Swiss-style restaurants in Leysin. Small, growing families on a budget and young couples in love appreciate our reasonable prices without a sacrifice of amenities. Swiss-Comfort in Leysin is a favorite for a winter weekend retreats or longer ski vacations. Basically, it is a great place to stay anytime of the year.

There are three area 18-hole golf courses include Golf Club Montreux (Par 72), in Aigle, Gstaad-Saanenland (Par 70) and Villars (Par 70).
Skiing
Leysin has a variety of ski conditions for the beginner to advanced skier or snowboarder. In winter, there are several annual ski/snowboarding events. The ski resort has snow-making capability. There are over 120 km of excellent ski slopes with a variety of skiing challenges. Skiing is from 1300 -2150 meters. Leysin is home to the largest Toboggan Park in Europe and is a favorite of all generations. Cross-country skiers have access to ample courses. The Lower Sporting Center has an ice-skating rink, curling facilities, and a sports arena for a variety of indoor sports. The outdoor facilities include a soccer field and basketball and beach volleyball courts. Ski passes are available for short-term vacationers or for longer-term ski vacations. Passes can be purchased for Leysin ski slopes and for the surrounding ski areas as a package, for added discounts.
Special interest holidays
Leysin has special seasonal events throughout the year. Flowers decorate the Swiss chalets in spring and summer. The beauty of walking down a street of a typical Swiss village with its typical Swiss chalets, some which are over 300 years old, is what causes visitors to revisit year after year. The stone church is over 550 years old and reminds each visitor of centuries of Leysin history. "The Fromogerie", a restaurant of typical Swiss cuisine, such as cheese fondue, rosti, and a delectable selection of dried meats and cheeses, enhanced by red and white Swiss wines, is the host to a museum of Swiss antiques.
Travel
Geneva Airport is 90 - 110 minutes away by rail (connections hourly) or motorway (120 Kilometres). Leysin is accessible from Aigle Station by cog rail: exit Village Station. Geneva Airport is central to all major flight destinations around the world on major or budget carriers. Private travel to Leysin is via Aigle to a scenic route by easily to follow directional signs to Leysin resort.

Great eating is central to the Leysin experience whether the restaurant of choice in Leysin or on the slopes during ski season or whenever. Close to Swiss-Comfort is one of the best bakeries in Leysin. Three of the best restaurants are within ten minutes walking distance. There are easily accessible bars, banks, sporting facilities, a pharmacy, two supermarkets, and medical attention within 15 minutes from Swiss-Comfort in Leysin Center. All the modern conveniences are available as expected at any international ski resort. The local sports shops provide access to year round rental equipment for summer mountain biking, spring, summer and fall trekking and climbing, and winter cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, telemark skiing, and/or snowboarding. There are local guides and ski instruction available at your convenience at reasonable terms.

The balance and security deposit of £100 is due 8 weeks before arrival.
