4 star, 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms well maintained self catering apartment. It has a large balcony which has uninterrupted views over the Rhone valley with the Matterhorn clearly visible. The apartment is close to village shops, restaurants and outdoor pool for summer use. The village also has a great park area for the children, and often in winter the adjacent slope becomes a fantastic toboggen run. The cable car is a very short walk which takes you up to 2500m with great skiing for all the family (40km pistes). Anzere itself stands at 1500m and is about 2hr from Geneva either by car or train. It is south facing and offers great skiing in winter and biking, hiking, fishing, golfing and sightseeing in the summer.

Changeover day
Saturday to Saturday bookings. Arriving after 3.00pm and leaving before 10.00am. Short break bookings may be available in low season.

Towels and linen can be arranged with a fee of CHF20 per person. Apartment must be left clean and tidy or arrange to have it cleaned at a cost of CHF120. |
Accessibility
The apartment can be reached up a flight of stairs or a lift.
Outside
South facing balcony with table and chairs overlooking the valley and mountains. Outdoor heated swimming pool in the village can be used in the summer. The village is very friendly and offers a variety of shops and resturants.
Golf
There are several golf courses in the valais, the nearest one being in Crans Montana (18 hole). It is the Severiano Ballesteros course and is very spectacular and hosts the European Masters each year. There are also several 9 hole courses along with mini golf and pitch and putt.
Skiing
Anzere is a lovely traditional ski resort, with a pretty village and great atmosphere. Skiing should suite everyone but the most advanced skier, who could always explore the nearby resort of Crans Montana. English speaking ski school with both private or group lessons in both skiing and snowboarding. 1 fast gondola which takes you to the pistes, and from there 2 chairlifts, 8 draglifts taking you over 40km pistes. Very secure surroundings for the beginners (children in mind).
Travel
Geneva airport is about 2hrs drive or train journey. Train station is in the airport and they run frequently (tickets can be bought on the train). During the sking season Swiss air fly into Sion airport, and it is then only an 30 min taxi drive up the mountain.
Distances
Sion is the nearest large town and is well worth a visit for its castles, markets and museums.
Crans-Montana offers (as well as skiing) very good boutiques.
