In peaceful location but with reach of bars, restaurants and shops.

Changeover day
Preferred changeover day is Saturday but during low season this can be flexible. Arrival after 4.00pm and departure by 10.00am. Please indicate if late arrival when booking.

Notes on accommodation
No smoking allowed. The apartment is one floor below entrance level and can be accessed by stairs or lift. It is ideal for families, with the balconies suitable for children with supervision. Local amenities such as the open air swimming pool are within easy reach of the apartment.

Golf
Sion Golf course is the nearest only 20 minutes away, open all year round and competitively priced. Times can be arranged via the Nendaz Tourist office giving 24 hours notice. A further 30 minutes away Crans-sur-Sierre's championship course is the envy of many clubs. There are many more courses up and down the Valais worth a visit for the enthusiastic golfer.
Skiing
Nendaz connects into the 4 Valleys region which includes Verbier, Thyon and Veysonnaz and boasts over 400km of piste and 92 lifts which cater for all abilities and ages, whether it is skiing or snowboarding. The highest point is Mon-Fort at 3330m with views to the Matterhorn, Grand Combin and Mont Blanc. If you prefer the more gentle sport of cross country skiing, tabogganing or ice skating, Nendaz has it all.
Travel
Only 20 minutes away is the small Sion airport with direct flights from London. Geneva Airport is approx 2 1/2 hours away from Sion by train with a further short drive by bus/taxi to Nendaz. Direct Motorway links from the airport to Sion and a well maintained road up to Nendaz make driving an easy option even in the winter.
Distances
Sion, the capital of the Valais region is 15km away with shopping facilities, cinemas and museums. For something a bit more exclusive visit Crans-Montana 35km with its designer shops or Zermatt where the famous (and not so famous) spend their winter holidays. For a real picture postcard village visit Grimentz in the Val d'Anniviers.
If relaxation and pampering is more your style visit the baths at Saillon 25km, Ovronnaz 40km or Leukerbad 45km.
Further details
Lausanne, 120km, the seat of the International Olympic Committee is a daytrip away and Geneva, 160km away, is well worth a visit in the summer. The new base Loetschberg tunel makes even Bern only a day trip away. Full details of summer and winter activities in and around Nendaz and the Valais can be obtained from the Tourist office website.
Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking. All balances to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. There will also be a CHfr 200 refundable deposit to cover breakages and loss of keys, payable on arrival.
