Apr and Dec: flexible arrival and departure days - min 5 nights stay. Dec - Apr: min 1 week stay - changeover day is Saturday. Book online at owners website. Prices are based on guests leaving the apartment in the same clean condition in which they found it.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is non-smoking throughout. A key / damage deposit will be taken (credit card imprint of 500 Swiss francs) from the local agent upon your arrival. An additional charge for bed linen / towels / local taxes are charged at a standard rate of £20 per person per week and payable with your balance. To preserve the condition of the apartment, and in spite of its very large size, it is offered to a maximum of 8 guests at any time. Bookings are not accepted from groups of young people (under 30) without contacting the owner first.
Accessibility
The car park is at entrance level to the main door of the building. This apartment is not suitable for wheelchair users. The apartment front door is directly next to the lift at the 4th floor. There is a staircase in the apartment connecting the 4th and 5th floors.
For your ultimate convenience, the supermarket is on the ground floor together with a delicatessen, wine shop, chemist, news agent and various other specialist shops.
The bus stop is opposite, with free ski bus.
Outside
There are three large private east facing balconies which are connected to all four bedrooms and the lounge has it's own full width west facing balcony (BBQ's not permitted) that overlooks the communal sports grounds of Nendaz.
The Penthouse directly overlooks the sports centre of Nendaz, giving a birds eye view of the year round activities that are open to all.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is Lake Geneva which is about 80kms away. However there are two thermal spas/pools withing 30kms of Nendaz - great for those that want a day off from skiing. White water rafting is also available in Sion.
Golf
Nendaz is also located in the centre of a golfer’s dream; Sion golf course is 20 minutes drive away; the championship Crans sur Sierre (home to the European Masters Tournament) is 45 minutes, and Villars and Verbier courses are about 55 minutes away.
Skiing
Nendaz is in the centre of the 4 Valleys including Verbier; together they make a formidable array of skiing. But even on its own, Nendaz is a pretty formidable resort. It is possible to ski the whole lot or just to buy a ticket for Nendaz. The glacier on Mont Fort in Verbier provides year round skiing and some of the most challenging, and the inter resort lift connections are excellent. Nendaz is also suitable for beginners and intermediate skiers and is an ideal family destination.
Travel
The nearest airport is in Sion 15kms from Nendaz. Sion is very small, but during winter does have a scheduled Saturday service from London. The nearest major International airports are Geneva or Bern. which are both about 160kms away or a two hours drive. Trains from Geneva to Sion go several times per hour and take 2 hours.
The most convenient way to travel from Geneva is to hire a car where you can be in the apartment within two hours of leaving the airport.

Further details
Nendaz is a wonderful summer location too, with beautiful forests and mountain lakes; there are 250 kms of sign-posted mountain paths for walker’s and biker’s - bikes can be taken on the lift free during the summer between June and Sept.
The huge car free area opposite the apartment offers the following activities:
Skate-boarding, rock climbing, tennis, squash, a solarium and a fitness centre can all be found in the sports centre opposite the apartment.
Horse-riding menange is next door; Children’s playground and bike obstacle course. Trampolining. Climbing wall. Ice Rink (winter). Tennis courts (summer).
Swimming - outdoor heated pool & sunbathing area 5 mins walk - open June - Sept.
Para Gliding – 2 schools in Nendaz -the landing site is opposite the apartment and lessons take place at the top of the lift.
Night life in Nendaz is good but not wild. There are some excellent restaurants and bars 2 mins walk away; it is more sociable and down to earth than nearby Verbier.
The ancient Town of Sion is just 30 minutes drive with fantastic antique shops, a medieval castle and and old town to explore. Buses go every half hour from Nendaz and the bus stop is 2 mins walk away.

I'm 49 years old and I have lived and work in London for the past 25 years. I like good restaurants, walking, skiing, sun-bathing, the outdoors, and exploring new places. I love to get on a short flight from London, and relax for a few days on a regular basis and get away from the stresses of London living.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
I always dreamed of owning a large luxury property that I could let out and also enjoy myself. After visiting the various villages in the Four Valleys region in Switzerland, I decided on Nendaz as it was in the centre of this vast ski region, making it easier to access all of the range and have a really good amount of time to ski any of the range without having to rush back to quickly. I also found that Nendaz was more friendly and down to earth than it's neighbour Verbier, even though holidaymakers staying in either location share the same mountain range to ski on.
Unique benefits of the property
Easy to get to being only 2 hours from Geneva. Luxury living in a style that I can't afford in London. Clean air, 300 days of sunshine each year, stunning scenery with mountain walks.
