Chalet Arvine offers an extremely high standard of accommodation throughout with stylish and state of the art fittings and fixtures, cosy underfloor heating and a roaring log fire in the living and dining area. Guests can enjoy the magical views of the mountains from the floor to ceiling windows and a lovely outdoor terrace opening out from the dining area. The chalet is located in the heart of Nendaz within a few minutes walk of the shops, bars, restaurants and Nendaz ski lift.

Changeover day
Generally changeover days are on Saturdays. Arrival time is no sooner than 4pm and guests are requested to leave by 10am.

Notes on accommodation
Guests should observe that 8 is the maximum number to be in the chalet, unless specifically agreed with the owner and that no pets are allowed within the chalet or in the grounds of the chalet. Cot and high chair available for our younger guests. Shopping can be brought to the chalet for the arrival of guests as an additional service.

Outside Chalet Arvine is a beautiful sun drenched patio with outdoor furniture and BBQ.
Skiing
A friendly resort, Nendaz has access to over 400km of ski pistes including Verbier, La Tsoumaz, Thyon and Veysonnaz. Chalet Arvine is located within a few minutes walk of the Nendaz ski lift and within ten minutes drive to Siviez, from where there are ski lifts running to Mont Fort, the highest peak of the 4 Valleys ski area. There are also lots of off piste activities available with winter hiking and snow shoe trails as well as cross-country skiing possibilities.

Chalet Arvine is the perfect base for ski holidays in the winter and mountain climbing, mountain biking and relaxation holidays in the summer. With local alpine festivals, the open air swimming pool, treasure hunts and sports and craft activities available, there is something for everyone. Travel
The nearest airport is Sion, which is about 15-20 minutes drive from Chalet Arvine. Geneva airport is located within less than two hour's drive of the chalet.

Chalet Arvine is within several minutes walk of the shops, bars and restaurants in Nendaz and also within walking distance of the ski lift.

Booking notes
In order to secure a booking, a deposit is taken with the balance due six weeks before the stay. A fully refundable good housekeeping deposit is also required.

Chalet Arvine was wonderful and we all had a fabulous time. The chalet is immaculate and the views are spectacular! We loved the views from the dining table in particular and the living room was very cosy with the log fire at the end of the day. We would not hesitate recommending the chalet to friends. About the owner
We live in Scotland and Switzerland with our two young children and operate a holiday cottage business on the shores of Loch Tay in the Scottish Highlands and a ski chalet business in the heart of the Swiss Alps.
Our properties range in style, age and size - they range from renovated farm steadings to alpine chalets, but all have a great sense of homeliness and beautiful views, as well as lots of little luxuries to help everyone unwind and enjoy their holidays, no matter how old or young they may be!
Why the owner chose a home in this location
We manage this chalet for a neighbour (we have another chalet in the same road) who purchased the land and finished it in time for it's first guests in the winter of 2008. The chalet is large enough for big groups, yet has a lovely cosy feel with the open fire in the living area and and stunning views from the floor to ceiling glass windows in the dining area. The combination of the central location, the fantastic views and the luxury of the chalet itself makes it the perfect place for a break all year round.
