Built in 2010, the chalet is built on two levels with all the accommodation on the lower floor and living / dining area (with LCD TV, DVD and freeview) and open plan fully fitted kitchen on the first floor. It's located in a quiet area of the village. Floor to ceiling windows offer stunning panoramic views across the valley. A beautiful sauna room with shower, WC and basin offer luxury relaxation at the end of the day! The exceptional interior furnishings and decor make for a very relaxing stay! The village neighbours Verbier and has direct gondola links to Verbier! In the heart of the 4 Vallees it's a great place to ski for all levels. The region offers some of the best off-piste skiing in the world! You can ski into Verbier in about 10-15 minutes off the main ski lift from La Tzoumaz. Ski school in available in resort so to is ski and boot hire. Fully catered and self-catered options are available.

The change-over day is Saturday but Sundays can be considered.

Notes on accommodation
The accommodation is located in a quiet area of the village with amazing views, private parking for 2-3 cars!
Accessibility
The chalet has a single staircase linking the ground floor to the upper floor. Bedrooms and all living accomodation is located on the ground floor.
Outside
In the summer the wrap around balcony has seating, table and BBQ. Amazing views across the valley from this quiet location.
Golf
There is a course in Verbier and also a course in Sion, 20km down the road, obviously only open from April through the summer months.
Skiing
Amazing skiing from the heart of the 4 Vallees ski area. The main ski lift linking La Tzoumaz resort to Verbier is within 2 to 3 minute drive. Free resort ski bus stops is right behind the chalet, approximately 20 metres away! The resort also boasts the longest Luge run in Switzerland. Parasending & heliskiing all available to hire. Ski schools for all ages and kids creche. Great ski area with some of the worlds best off-piste for the adventurous and great skiing for al levels.
The free ski bus runs from 20 metres behind the chalet and is only a few minutes to the main Savolyres lift station.
The resort caters for all levels and offers some of the best off piste skiing in the world across the 4 Vallees The ski lift is open until the end of April 2011.
Special interest holidays
The winter caters perfectly for skiing and boarding the delightful summers offer relaxing walking, trecking, hiking and mountain biking. The main lift remains open in the summer to ferry people up the mountain to enjoy the amazing scenery! It's very relaxing in the summer!
Travel
Nearest airports: Geneva - 1 hour 45 mins by car. By train, 1hr 50 minutes from Geneva to Sion or Martigny then 20 minute drive to chalet. By train from Zurich, 3 hours also to Martigny or Sion. There are also direct flights in the ski season from Stanstead (UK) direct into Sion airport by skijet. Trains run every 20 minutes or so from both Geneva and Zurich and transfers can be arranged if you come to Sion. It's about a 9-10 hour drive from Calais!
Distances
15 Minutes to Riddes at the foot of the mountain. Sion the nearest town is 20km away, taxi services and buses are all available. Geneva is 160km (95 miles)

Resort facilities include local supermarket, bakery, bank with ATM, local restaurants and bars, ski hire shops, indoor swimming pool and sauna, outdoor ice rink and one of the longest sledge runs in Europe in the ski season!

Bookings will be confirmed upon receipt of a 25% deposit and the balance 2 months before arrival in resort. Deposits are non-refundable.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Some friends have a chalet in the same village, we came for a ski holiday and fell in love with the ski area and village and decided to make the step and build! Never looked back!
The village is nice a quiet but offers everything you need to have an amazing winter or summer holiday!
Unique benefits of the property
The high standard of furnishings mean it's a really nice place to stay. It's also located in a nice quite part of the village. We had a sauna room built into the construction which is great way to unwind and relax after a hard days skiing.
