The apartment is a home from home;located in the exclusive Domaine de la Residence with magnificent views of Mont Blanc and the ski slopes. Situated in a quiet lane it is 20 mins walk, or a 2 minute drive from the ski gondola. Villars is an excellent family resort with numerous activities and facilities for children including ice skating, swimming and tennis. Free skiing for under 9 year olds. Local supermarkets, bakeries, fromagerie and fabulous restaurants are all close by. A great summer retreat with 300km walking trails. The mountain tram is a must with magnificent view of mountains.

Kitchen: Modern kitchen with hob, oven, extractor hood, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.
Utility Room: Separate washer & dryer within complex.
Living Rooms: Lounge with magnificent views of ski slopes and Mont Blanc. Double French doors lead out to covered terrace (sits 8) from where you can watch skiers. Dining room sits 8. Double sofa, two comfy chairs, Welsh dresser, large LCD TV, DVD, CD. Open fireplace.
Other: Ski locker in basement. Indoor parking available.

Travel
Geneva, 1 hour by car or 2 hours by train. Switzerland has one of the most efficent train services in the world; Geneva-Villars via Bex. Or bus from Bex.

Distances
French border 20km. Mountreux and Lake Geneva 20 minutes. Chamonix and Gstaad 1 hour drive. Italian border 40 minutes and interlaken and the Bernese Oberland is an easy day trip away. Villars is so convenient to explore many European countries.

Fantastic... Really homely accommodation with good facilites. The views from both balconies were breathtaking, being able to see mountains, rolling hills and the sound of cowbells was just lovely whilst eating breakfast on the balcony in the morning.
Perfect location for exploring as within 2 hours drive of many places including Gstaad, Chamonix and Montreaux (all of which we would recommend). Everywhere was beautifully clean and well attended to. Wonderful playgrounds for children, excellent cycling routes and walking paths signposted in most towns we visited.
Our first time to Switzerland and we would definitely recommend the accommodation, area and the country as a whole. Our only regret is that we booked one week instead of two!
