Fantastic luxury, ground floor, corner apartment situated at the bottom of Le Rouge ski slopes. Ski in ski out access to whole of Four Valleys. Adjacent to 'magic carpet' ski lift excellent for beginner ski practice and children's sledging. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Sleeps 6. Comfortable open plan living area and kitchen. Outside sitting and eating area with sun canopy. Close to bus stop for free access to rest of resort. 10 minutes walk into town. A great place to visit in summer or winter. Highlight of summer is the Verbier Music festival at the end of July / early August, with 17 days of music. International artists and orchestras converge on Verbier for concerts,recitals, street performances and jam sessions. Many summer activities including hiking, climbing, walking, horse riding, outdoor swimming pool, tennis and golf. There is also the annual Verbier 4X4 car show, horse show jumping competition and Grand Raid Cristalp bicycle race.

Notes on accommodation
This apartment offers 120m2 of fantastic, extremely comfortable accommodation suitable for everyone. It is beautifully furnished to a very high standard and is light and spacious. Having lived there with our 3 children you will find a proper home from home with everything you need for a fantastic stay. The 6ft bed in the master bedroom ensures a wonderful sleep and the twin beds in the second bedroom can be joined together to create another king size bed if required.
The en-suite bathroom has an over sized bath and walk in shower and underfloor heating. The apartment is warm throughout and the sitting room can be boosted with an open fire to create an even cosier atmosphere. The outside space is unbeatable and kids can while away many hours in winter building snowmen and sledging or endless summer play in the meadow.

Accessibility
Situated on the edge of a ski slope access is via a number of steps and a short walk up hill. During the ski season, there is a convenient conveyor ski lift that brings you to the opposite corner of the apartment. Three wheeler pram essential for babies/toddlers. Summer access is easier as cars can be driven closer to the apartment. The ground is still uneven for wheelchair and pram access.

Outside
Fantastic outdoor space on ground floor corner of apartment block. Adjacent to open meadow that's great for kids sledging, snowman building etc. Conveyor ski lift means beginner ski practice and sledging on doorstep. Outside dining area with chairs and sun loungers. Sun canopy for shade. External ski rack and plenty of space for ski boots and outdoor shoes.
Summer is unbeatable with huge garden space in a wildflower meadow, with rocks to clamber on and small stream.

Summer golf within walking distance.

Skiing
Situated at the bottom of Le Rouge ski slope giving access to Verbier and whole 4 valleys ski area. Button lift situated behind apartment block. 'Magic carpet' situated next to apartment for access to lower slopes great for beginner practice. Ski home from anywhere for most of season.

Language courses, all outdoor activities and many other holidays available in Verbier.

Travel
Verbier is easily accessible by car and rail. Approx 2hrs by road from Geneva airport and 3hrs by train/shuttle bus into the centre of the resort. Transport by train is the easiest during the winter season with direct trains from the airport to Martigny every hour. Take the Grand St.Bernard train to LeChable , then bus or Gondola into the resort. In the summer you will need a car as transport services or more limited.

Verbier is a buzzing town with plenty of restaurants, bars, ski hire and shops including 5 supermarkets. Migros offer online shopping and delivery so you can stock up for your arrival. Co op also deliver your shopping once you have purchased it in store. Le Rouge restaurant and Apres ski bar is close by. Al Capone restaurant is a short walk uphill for a great nearby pizza. Sports centre with swimming pool, squash, ice rink, tennis courts. Riding school. Fantastic mountain walks. Day and night time sledging.

If booking is made 16 weeks or more prior to the arrival date of your stay, a deposit of 30% of the total amount (1,000 CHF minimum) will be needed to reserve accommodation. Balance to be made 16 weeks before arrival. If booking is within 16 weeks of arrival date of stay, full payment is required at time of booking. Payment by cheque or bank transfer. Booking secured once funds cleared.

We are a family of 5 living in Northumberland. We moved back to the UK from Switzerland in 2007. We have been married since 2001 and our children are 6 year old Amelie, Louie who is 4 and 2 year old Anna.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We were already living in Verbier and needed somewhere with a garden. When we found this we knew it was special. It is warm, light and spacious inside and the outside area is unbeatable both in winter and summer.

Unique benefits of the property
The open space is fantastic. Summers are spent outside with the children playing in the meadow. Winters are great for skiing with immediate access to the slopes away from the crowds. Ski in ski out is a rare commodity in Verbier.
