Chalet Armorial occupies a privileged position in the Domaine de la Residence, one of the best and most sought after areas of the beautiful Alpine resort of Villars, Switzerland. Fully south facing and only a few steps away from one of the main blue runs into the village, it affords a superb skiing experience, being virtually ski-in ski-out, combined with comfort, tranquility and stunning views of the Dents du Midi range. Our apartment is on the first floor and comfortably accommodates up to four guests in the two main rooms. A large balcony, provides a wonderful opportunity to soak up the views over a glass of wine or hot chocolate. We offer Broadband Internet access with a laptop for guests use, Playstation 2, large flatscreen TV with cable channels and private garage.

Flexible changeover days, arrival after 1500, departure before 1030 to allow for cleaning.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | The cosy bedroom has wood paneled walls, pine furniture, Alpine prints on the walls and a King size double bed which has separate matresses which enables it to be made up as two singles if required. |
| Bathrooms: | The bathroom is fully tiled and includes a full sized bath for those 'after ski' soaks along with a shower, toilet and wasbasin. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen area is well equipped with fridge/Freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee percolator, toaster and full size oven and hob. All necessary utensils, plates and cutlery are provided. |
| Utility Room: | A communal laundry room is available with washer and dryer. |
| Living Rooms: | The bright and sunny lounge/diner is well equipped and very cozy on a winters evening. There is an open log fire (logs can be ordered from the local agents) comfortable sofas, one of which converts into a double bed (all bedding and quilts provided). |
| Other: | Entrance hall with large storage cupboards, telephone and computer with broadband Internet. Heated secure ski store. |

All towels, bedlinen and teatowels are included in the price. End of stay cleaning is also included. |

Outside
The large 'L' shaped balcony has a table with four chairs, parasol and a gas fired barbeque. We also provide a gas fired patio heater.
We have a heated, private garage space.
Coast/Beach
Lake Geneva with boating and swimming is a 20 minute drive from Villars.
Golf
Villars boasts an 18 hole mountain Golf course with amazing views and a highly rated restaurant and club house. This may be reached either via the moutain train or by a car journey (in Summer) of about 10 minutes.
Skiing
Our apartment is located very close to the blue piste down to the Roc D'Orsay cable car and is virtually ski in - ski out or you can take the mountain funicular train from Villars station to Bretaye (20 mins). This is an easy way to start the day for skiers, non-skiers and children alike
At the top Bretaye is situated on a sunny terrace with the meeting place for all 3 ski / snowboard schools, 2 nursery lifts so beginners can learn to ski at high altitude (1800 metres) and two restaurants. Ideal for groups of mixed abilities so skiers and non-skiers can meet for lunch. Skiers from the western end of Villars can reach Bretaye via the Roc d'Orsay cable car and a short run down.
Summer glacier skiing is available at the Diablerets Glacier (3000m).
Travel
o Fly to Geneva then by train or 90 minute car journey
o Good flight deals from EasyJet and BA into Geneva
o Hertz supply ski equipped rental cars from Geneva
o Possible to drive in about 7 hours from Calais
Car is recommended but not essential.

Villars is well supplied with small supermarkets, banks, post office, taxi services, restaurants and bars.
Booking notes
£100 (150 Euros) security deposit required with booking, balance payable 6 weeks prior to rental.
Keys nad directions sent 10 days prior to rental.
Rates do not include local visitors tax.
