The chalet is located a few minutes drive from the centre of Veysonnaz village and the main ski lift, which is part of the 4-valleys ski system. The lift is also open in the summer during peak periods, making the mountains very accessible for walking and mountain biking. There is a bus service from Sion and around the village making connections to the two main ski lifts. This new luxury 6 double bedroomed chalet is very spacious and accommodates 12 people with ease. There are three bathrooms and four WC’s. The two south facing balconies offer stunning views to the connecting ski resort of Nendaz and to the town of Sion on the valley floor. The chalet is perfectly situated for a peaceful or active holiday. There are numerous thermal baths across the valley and the mountains offer 4 valleys skiing and in the summer extensive walking or mountain biking.

Changeover day
Bookings are Saturday to Saturday. Arrive after 4.00pm. Departure visit to be booked in advance before 10.00am.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | On the ground floor there are 4 bedrooms, 3 are twin bedded rooms each with large single beds, bedside cabinets and wardrobe and 1 bedroom has a double bed. On the top floor there are a further 2 twin bedded bedrooms, with bedside cabinet and wardrobes. |
| Bathrooms: | Ground floor, bathroom with bath/shower over, WC and hand basin. There is also a separate WC with washbasin. First floor, bathroom with shower, WC and hand basin. Top floor, bathroom with shower, WC and hand basin. |
| Kitchen: | A large luxury fully fitted modern kitchen with a full range of appliances and granite work surfaces. Fridge/Freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. |
| Utility Room: | Large room on the ground floor suitable for storage. |
| Living Rooms: | A large airy integrated living/dining room with direct access onto a large balcony with stunning views. The living room has two leather sofas, cable TV with DVD player. The dining room is large and is able to seat 12 people at the same time. |
| Other: | The ground floor bedrooms open up to stunning mountain views. The first and top floors have south facing balconies. There is under floor heating in all rooms except the bedrooms which have electric wall heaters. There is parking for two vehicles. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Pillows and duvets are included. The chalet is managed by ViP, our rental management company. Bedlinen and towels can be hired in advance 15chf single. 22chf double, towels 3chf. A cleaning/damage deposit of 450chf will be collected on check in. |
Notes on accommodation
There is a no smoking, no pets policy in this chalet. The reception to our booking agent (ViP) is open 7 days a week and there is a 24hr concierge service.

Accessibility
Our chalet is accessed by a number of steps from the parking area near the chalet. The road from the village to the chalet is kept clear during the winter but snow chains may be required at times.
Golf
There are numerous courses within an hours drive of the chalet, the most famous being the one at Crans Montana where a round of the European tour is held every September.
Skiing
Veysonnaz is a family resort with skiing for all abilities. Snow cannons throughout the resort ensure that ski runs remain in good condition. The Veysonnaz ski lift moves 2400 skiers an hour into the heart of the Veysonnaz ski system at 2000m and beyond to the lifts that connect to the 4 valleys. From here the famous Piste de ‘l’Ours Womens World Cup Downhill ski run starts. It takes about 1hr to ski to the popular resort of Verbier and for experienced skiers the return journey down the infamous mogul field of Tortin is a real test of skill and stamina. The area is also ideal for snowboarders, with half pipes and jumps scattered around the resort.
Travel
Veysonnaz is 15mins from Sion railway station by car/taxi, there is also a bus service.
Geneva airport, 90 mins by car (weather dependant). 1hr 45 mins by train from Sion.
Milan airport, 2hrs by train from Sion.
There are high season flights into Sion from London City airport.
Calais is approx 10hrs drive.
Distances
The historic town of Sion is about 20 mins, with it’s cobbled streets, two hill forts and modern shopping centre. There are a number of thermal baths within an hours drive. There are also other well known resorts in the area to visit such as Verbier, Crans Montana, Saas-Fee and Zermat. Montreux on Lake Geneva is also worth a visit.
Further details
The village has an indoor swimming pool and wellness centre. This small family resort has restaurants, bars, supermarket, bakers, butchers, ski/mountain bike hire. This is truly a resort for all seasons with 400kms of skiing and 300 kms of sign posted walks. There are also numerous sign posted mountain bike trails. During the summer there are organised activities. Ski and Fun is included in the rental price from 27th June to 29th August 2009.
Booking notes
After the initial enquiry the booking is done directly through our management company ViP and the full conditions of booking will be forwarded by them. Bookings are Saturday to Saturday. Tourist tax paid on arrival between 1.00 to 2.00 chf p.p. per night. A cleaning/damage deposit of 450chf must also be paid on check in. Cleaning is 360chf. Linen and towels can be booked in advance, singles are approx 15chf pp and towels are approx 3chf pp.
