This luxury new apartment built in 2006 is situated in the heart of the village and is only 300 mtrs from the New 8 seater hi speed Gondola. Furnished to an exceptional standard, complete with Miele appliances, flat screen TV, Hi-Fi system and DVD player. It offers sleeping capacity of 8, comprising of 3 twin bedrooms (one of which has an en-suite) and a bunk bed area. There is also a Family shower room. The stylish lounge/diner has a traditional fireplace and offers wonderful views across the Rhone Valley from its panoramic windows and large balcony. It has a boot room and communal washing/drying facilities in the building along with garage parking nearby. It is centrally located in Veysonnaz, which is an unspoilt small mountain village with both winter and summer season activities. Linked to the '4 Valleys', it offers superb skiing on 400km of marked piste, 100 lifts and snow canons to guarantee excellent snow conditions.

Coast/Beach
The shores of Lac Leman, one of Switzerland's largest lakes are within an hour's drive. There are various other lakes within a 20 minute drive from the apartment.

Golf
The nearest course at Sion, just 20 minutes away and is open practically all year round. There are 6 golf courses within 1 hours drive, 18 hole courses are: Sion; Verbier; Leuk Seuston and the world famous Championship Crans-sur-Sierre, 9 hole courses at Sierre and Crans-sur-Sierre. A further 3 nine hole courses within 2 hours drive at Matterhorn; Riederalp and Source du Rhone.

Skiing
Ski from mid November to mid April. Ski the famous World Cup downhill run - Piste de l'Ours or visit the glacier on Mont Fort. The all encompassing '4 Valleys' Mt Fort pass offers 25 blue, 70 red and 5 black runs serviced by 18 gondolas; 32 chair lifts and 49 surface lifts. Snow cannons ensure excellent conditions. 32km of cross-country slopes. Snowboarding runs and 5km snow shoe treks. we are just 300 mtrs to the new 8 seater hi speed gondola at Veysonnaz.
Secure Ski locker facilities with allocated garage parking underneath near by Hotel Chalet- Royale, and by gondola.
3 Ski/Snow board hire/shops. Swiss Ski School for both children and adults in Veysonnaz. Child care facilities available from 18 months to 3 1/2 years. Please contact for more details.

Special interest holidays
For summer, just relax and do your own thing walking/biking on 300km of signposted paths in the beautiful mountains or join in with the organised 'Sun & Fun' Activity weeks (additional cost) which run in July & August. Divided into 3 age ranges - 'The Bear Club' 4-8 years is free and offers theme days such as Indians; theatre; pottery; visit to farm and donkey riding. For 9-15 years and adult groups, activities include guided walks; mountain bike tours; football; tennis; wall climbing; BMX; swimmimg and archery. And for all - a night in the Indian Wigwam. There are excellent travel links to Veysonnaz:
Flights to Geneva, followed by a car journey of Appx. 1 hr 40 mins.
Train from Geneva airport to sion 1 hr 40 mins. Veysonnaz is a 15 min taxi ride from Sion train station.
Flights to Sion are available during the winter season from London Heathrow and Stansted airport on a Sat/Sun to Sat/Sun basis. Veysonnaz is a 15 min taxi ride from Sion airport.

Distances
Only 10km or a 15 minute drive away is Historic Sion, Switzerland's oldest town, it has 2 chateaux, a cathedral and many museums. Full shopping facilities, theatre, cinema, swimming pool. Thermal baths are 30 minutes away at Saillon. Verbier can be reached by car within 1 hour, Mont Blanc within 1.5 hours and Saas Fee, Zermatt within 2 hours. If you wish to travel to Italy, Milan is just 4 hours away.

Veysonnaz is located in region of Sion, which offers you the Alps at their best: 600 km of runs with gentle slopes for careful beginners, or breakneck 'black' pistes that are the dream of the most daring skiers. The runs range from 500 to 3,000m above sea level. Enjoy the magical landscape, whiz down fantastic toboggan runs, show your prowess in snowboard parks, embark on a cross-country ski or snowshoes tour on one of our countless sign-posted trails. The villages in the area have an authentic ambience and at the same time top-notch infrastructure. Heli-skiing is available to the Pigne d'Arolla at 3,800m and the Wildhorn at 3,000m.

Prices are for the property per week and includes, covered parking space. A 50% non refundable deposit is required with booking and final payment is due 8 weeks prior to arrival. An additional charge of CHF200 required for the final clean. A refundable guarantee of £150 (by cheque) is payable with final payment to cover any loss or damage.
